Basically what I would like is people to list really good all you can eat buffet's near Disney here. I don't care what type of cuisine it is either. Must be non-disney restaurants. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know there is a Golden Corral right outside the gates @ 7702 W. Irlo Bronson Hwy. We went there for lunch last year and it was only a mile or so from Disney:)

I second the Golden Corral. Very good food for the price and lots of stuff the kids will eat.

We love Golden Corral too - Great variety and food and inexpensive! Speaking of cost, does anyone know the current price of the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet at GC?
Sorry to hijack the thread
TIA :goodvibes

That Golden Corral everyone is talking about is around 10.00 for dinner. Sorry, I have never ate there any other time, so I don't know the cost.
There is also a Shoney's, and Ponderosa right next to GC. There are several all you can eat seafood buffets very close as well such as Boston Lobster Feast and Angels.

On the other side of WDW, there is a decent all-you-can-eat Chinese place on 535, near Palm Parkway. "NY Chinese" or something like that, it is in next to Steak & Shake, near Giordanos.

Also another Golden Corral at 535 and Apopka Vineland Rd, down a few blocks from the Premium Outlet Mall.

You can go to www.goldencorral.com and type in the city and they will list the hours and prices for each GC:)

My bad, I just remembered I used the site to get the phone number for the GC I wanted then called them directly to get prices:)

Golden Coral is a real winner for breakfast for us. We fill up go to the parks, have a couple fun small snacks and we are good till dinner. There are usually even coupons in the free area tourism guides. They even have an omelet bar, where they make it fresh right in front of you. I have yet to make it there for dinner. Shoney's was mentioned also, but the selection is not as big as GC.

We love the Ponderosa breakfast buffet, and their dinner is good, too. At Ponderosa for dinner, you can order the buffet, or a meal that comes with the all you can eat buffet. DH and I found that once we filled up on the buffet, we couldn't finish our meals! You can take leftovers from your meal home, but not from the buffet, so that could be a cost saver for some folks if you like leftovers. :)

We love Sweet Tomatoes. That is at I-drive and Kirkman Road. Just ate there last week and it was great as always. We also had lunch at Shoney's one day.

Golden Corral on 192 is not as good as it used to be. Dirty, smelly and so so food. Go to the Golden Corral on 535 (Vineland Rd) just outside of the outlet mall, just down the street from DTD. Clean, great food. Breakfast $7.99, Lunch $7.19 and dinner $10.99. Coupons avail in all tourist booklets for 10% off. Sizzler on 192 near Shoneys is great and clean. Steak $9.99 and all you can eat salad bar with bake potato or fries. They also offer breakfast $4.99. We are going there tomorrow for breakfast so I'll let ya know how it goes. I am all for a big bang for your buck buck but it has to be clean and good food. Shoney's are great for breakfast buffets too. There dinners are touch and go. I recommend going in and looking at the buffet before bringing everyone in and sitting down for dinner.:thumbsup2

The worst Golden Corral I've been (dirty place, dirty plates and a grouching staff) is the one at International Drive.:scared1:
The food selection was great, but I'll never come back there.

Also, the Ponderosa at International Drive is dirty too.

I just called them last night, lunch is from 10:30-4 and is $7.69 for adults, $4.49 for children ages 6-12 and $1.99 for children ages 3-5. Dinner is from 4-9 and is $8.99 for adults, I am assuming the childrens prices are the same. I know it is cheaper than GC and sounds better to me. You can go to their website and see the daily menu in detail and get nutrition info.:) Below is the link to the menu info for the one on Kirkman in Orlando:

We like Cici's--all you can eat pizza, salad and a bit of pasta. It's very inexpensive and fun for a quick meal.

That's a good idea. Cici's is good. Is there one near Disney?

They have a few locations in the area. Go to cicispizza.com and search under zip code 34744 for a list and map.

We eat at the Golden Corral on #535 every trip, and haven't had a bad meal there yet. Breakfast, lunch, dinner---they've all been great! It's very clean too. I think it's a "model" restaurant for the franchise, so they work hard to keep things nice there.

I also would recommend CiCi's for a cheap pizza lunch or dinner. We have also enjoyed the NY China Buffet for lunch and dinner, though I have to say the dinner is better.

One more thought --which is not really an all-you-can-eat buffet-- is Olive Garden's soup and salad deal at lunch for ~$6 or so. This comes with all the soup, salad, and breadsticks you can eat. Not a bad deal at all!
