Great shots!!!
So do the campers host trick or treating for the kids???
We'll be there next Halloween. If so, my hubby will LOVE this as we usually only have 1 trick or treater at home.

Great pictures. Is that your site with all the zombies ??
We were there too! Let me tell you we had a blast! We were on the 800 Loop right across from a site set up as a cemetery! It was awesome, this was the guys 13th year! We rented a golf cart for Halloween night for the kids to cover the park trick or treating! And to answer the OP, yes, your hubby will love it. We had 40 popcorn balls and 2 huge bags of candy we kept with us on the golf cart to hand out! So, if your kids got Popcorn balls at the fort, they were from us! Our kids got a huge bag of candy each themselves from the generous campers at the fort! Good thing, because it poured at MNSSHP on the 30th, and they didn't get any candy, except for the kind bunny at Expo Hall, who gave them a generous amt of her stash! Thanks Bunny! If you've never been before at Halloween, you gotta go! I'm hoping to go back next year, if I recover from the fuel bill from Canada to Florida and back:eek: $900+ !!!!! But worth every penny! Trip report hopefully tomorrow. BTW, I saw your cart many times around the loops, you were on the back of 800 right?

Glad to see you made it home safe KG66. It was a pleasure meeting you.
The Orange and Black cart was in our loop an was very cool. I couldn't tell which was faster though, the orange and black one or the green one. All I know is my cart could not keep up with them. Time to order a bigger motor!!
The dogs were very cute too!

Yep the whole campground trick or treats, I think it is much better then the MNSSHP I've been to that a million times, campground on Halloween is the best. The pics I took were from various sites but they were not my site. I did stay in the 800 loop I was in 816 (Great loop for Halloween) everyone was mostly in the 700 and 800 loops.

LOL the 800 loop:thumbsup2
We were on site 801 as soon as you entered the loop! I'd definitely stay there again. Yes, IBM 2010 we made it home safely Monday night. It was a long scary ride home! Lots of rain in Ohio with lots of windy making for a lot of swaying on the wet roads! DH white knuckled it the last 2 hours of the way home! Wouldn't want to do that trip in the winter with the trailer.

We now and have lived in a more mature neighborhood and only get a handful of kids at trick or treat, but will be there next year for Halloween. Generally, for those that have been there how many people showed up at your trailer/MH for trick or treat since next year we will have to plan on the threats. We won't be doing the Demented BBQ or Graveyard, but will be lit to participate if someone wants to come.

Bring lots of candy many, many kids looking for candy LOL!!!! I took my kids around on the cart and I left two big bowls at my site on a chair when I returned it was all gone. All the kids respected the amount they took two three peices each everyone was well behaved and it was one of the best Halloweens we ever had:banana:

Last year some of our neighbors at the Fort left a bowl of candy out overnight. I usually walk Mickey the Wonder Beagle pretty early when it's still dark out. Well, his nose is better than my eyes, and he zeroed in on this candy. Before I knew it, it was like a feeding frenzy at the shark tank - I mean, candy was flying all over the place and all I could see was this little beagle diving into this very large bowl of candy. He is about 25 lbs of pure muscle and I was trying to get him out of there, he was growling at me and howling, there were camper lights coming on (but nobody came out to help me, although I don't blame them). When the smoke cleared, it was a mess. Candy and wrappers all over the place, a beagle with a very satisfied look on his face, and me with scratches and bite marks all over my arms. I took him back to the camper and waited for the sun to rise, then went over and cleaned up the aftermath.

My nieghbors were going nuts, boy can they howl!!! Everytime a dog went by the howling started Im sure some of you that stayed last week in the 800 loop heard them.

Yeah, I know about the chocolate. Fortuneately these were chewy Mary Jane things. Gave him a real sugar buzz for a few hours, which an already hyperactive beagle doesn't need.
No tungpo1, your babies were very well behaved from where we were! We were on 801 at the beginning of the loop with the mickey light post and my Dis flag. We couldn't hear the babies howling, and I know their cries do carry far. I did go by several times, and wasn't able to see them. I did wait to talk to you once , but you were on your cell and I didn't want to interrupt. Maybe we'll meet next year....

Next year, I think tungpo1 and I should get adjacent sites. 3 bassets and a beagle - what harmony they could make.
