The Sunshine Sailaway was a promotion offered by DCL not DU. DU could book this promotion however.

What is the Sunshine sail away offer?

The Sunshine Sailaway offer was a promotion or sales code that DCL used to attract more people to book a cruise by lowering the price.

Since the search function on the boards had to be disabled, it will be difficult to give you accurate details because it will have to be from memory.

It was announced in September of last year and it reduced prices for a cruise by a significant amount. It was in effect for cruises from somewhere around the first of 2002 until sometime in the spring. It is capacity controlled and they shut it off after a cruise has reached a predetermined occupancy level.

The current promotion offer is called 'Springtime Magic'. You can read the details of the offer on DCL's Website at:

Just click on the icon in the lower left corner of the home page titled 'Take advantage of Springtime Magic Rates' for the details.
It is in effect for cruises starting 4/6/02 and the latest start date that I saw was 5/23/02. It has to be booked by 3/30/02.
