I am going to be in Belgium visiting a former foreign exchange student who lived with us in the US.
We will be going to Disneyland Paris for one day, on a Wednesday (14 November). We are staying at one of the Disney resorts and will arrive on Tuesday late afternoon, stay overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday night and leave for Paris on Thursday morning.
What would you suggest as 'must sees' for a one day trip for someone who can't do any really wild rides (me) and someone who thinks Disney is only for kids (my former foreign exchange DD)?
Any suggestions for Tuesday or Wednesday night?

Thanks in advance.

The Disneyland Park is beautiful and has so much detail - so you could just spend quite a while just taking it all in. Try Phantom Manor and Pirates of the Caribbean which are different from (and some say better than) their WDW equivalents! Although I haven't actually seen it yet, many people say that Cinemagique, in the Walt Disney Studios park, is an excellent show.

Everything that Bexx said. I consider POTC and BTMRR to be better at DLRP than the American versions. Also visit the Dragon's Lair and the upper portions of the castle, Small World, Alice's Labyrinth, and spend time walking around the park and appreciating all of the differences from the American versions. It is a BIG park and there is a lot to see, even if you don't visit many of the attractions.

I would also consider a nice evening meal either inside the park or at one of the resort hotels (I am in the minority here I believe, but I am not overly impressed with the Downtown Disney eateris - and why eat food that you can find in MN when you are in France?!) ;)

Also visit the Dragon's Lair

Unfortunately it's being closed for refurbishment from 12th Nov :sad2:

oh no! Sorry for you and for Sue!! I will be sure and say hello to him tomorrow from both of you. He was in fine form this past weekend scaring quite a few of the younger set

Hopefully I'll get to see him on Sunday, but it would be kind if you could just let him know I'll be popping in then!! :teeth:

You should be able to do most things in the day you will have. If you use fastpass well and avoid Crush's Coaster. I visited in November last year, all the rides (even Space Mountain & Thunder Mountain) were walk ons. Make sure you see Cinemagique as it's very entertaining.

As for Tuesday or Wednesday night, you should really try to see Buffalo Bills Wild West show. It really is a fun show! You have to book in advance so ask at your hotel reception upon arrival.
