Got My Disney Dollars!

We had some friends that bought at VWL last June. We were told that we'd get a referral bonus, but nothing ever happened on it. So I'd call or email once a month or so, just to see if I could get anywhere on this. I finally got the right person's attention in January, apparently, and today my pack of $200 in Disney dollars finally arrived!

It looks like it was simply another Disney snafu, but all's well that ends well. And is this maybe considered a 2002 bonus? I've got someone else lined up, and it would be sweet if I could get $350 for them.

We had three referrals in 2001 and ended up with $ 1050 in Disney dollars and ended up getting a 1099 misc income form from Disney to declare on my taxes as income.

Do you think I can pay my taxes with Disney dollars???

Sweet! Lucky you. NC laws suck.

I guess Florida law allows these types of referral bonuses.... so I'll just tell my friends not to purchase until we move. :p

If you are one of the unlucky people who live in a state who won't allow Disney to do the referral bonus, just use me and we can split it, isn't $100 or more Disney Dollars better than nothing.

While that is a great idea normr and very admirablel of you did you take into consideration who is going to have to pay all the taxes on those Disney Dollars you get. Disney is going to send you the 1099 misc income form and you will have to pay the taxes on those dollars.
