We just got home last night. Sorry, I don't have all of the details. We stayed at the Poly. We had a bounceback offer with a code of CDR that was available to us for a room only booking. The code only applies to Deluxe standard rooms for a 30% off discount or a studio suite at one of the DVC properties for a 40% off discount. It had to be booked before we left property and said that it was being offered only to selected resort's guests. I don't have the promo sheet from the room, but it applied for dates in November and December of this year and next January, February, March, some dates in late August and September. Unfortunately, it did not apply to next November or December when we have hopes of returning for a family reunion of sorts with Gabby's family.

But, I did go ahead and book the deal for late January during value season and during the time when we could go to see a Pirate & Princess Party. I was given a rate with tax of $177 and change for AKL. I don't think we are going to be able to go, but with a great rate offer, it never hurts to book it and play the wait and see game. So, I am hoping to find out by this weekend if there is a possiblity of pixie dust sooner than next December. (fingers crossed) Maggie

Welcome home, Maggie!!:goodvibes I hope your birthday was the most magical yet!

I am crossing my fingers that this offer will still be available when we go to WDW next month because I REALLY want to book for next August!

I hope you get to go back in January. We went to P&PP in August and it was fun!pirate:

since it included dates in Aug and Sept - did it also include free dinning - or just a good rate?

Does anyone have any idea how long the bounceback offer might go on? I will be there in December and would be tempted to book a trip for next year if the offer was still available when I get there.

Thanks!

This one does not involve dining - it is a straight room-only discount.

So far I haven't been able to find any sort of expiration date for when they will stop accepting bookings under this plan. Last year Bounce Back ran 11/8 - 12/31 but that was free dining. This year there has been some sort of Bounce Back running since September so I am worried that when I get there they won't be offering anything.:sad2:

We were there a couple of weeks ago. Here are the dates which the discounts are available. I tried for a couple of dates in August and was quotes $65 a night before tax at the A/S Music (no Pop or Movies available). I passed and decided to wait for AP rates.

From the flyer: (The value resorts are 20% off)

Deluxe and Moderate Resorts save 30%

For stays most nights 12/9-12/15/07; 1/6-2/2/08; 2/24-3/1/08; 3/30-4/21/08; and 8/10-9/27/08 at select Disney Deluxe Resorts in a standard room

Deluxe Villa Resorts save 40%

For stays Sunday through Thursday nights 1/6-2/2/08; or most nights 2/24-2/28/08; 3/30-4/21/08; and 8/10-9/27/08 at select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts in a studio.

Yep, that was the deal, but being in a deluxe resort, they didn't say anything about the deal applying to value or moderate resorts. Hmm.....I wonder if I can change that out to save a little more money. :ssst: :rolleyes1 Maggie

I'm wondering if the AKL villa studios are included in this bounceback deal? I think I'd like to stay in one of them next trip.
Anybody been there recently enough to see a list of which DVC properties are included, if not all?

I just got home yesterday, and I took advantage of this offer while I was there, I booked Boardwalk Inn for January. I was going to book Boardwalk Villas, but they told me the 40% was for studios only, and I wanted a one bedroom. I'm thrilled with the offer for Boardwalk Inn at 30%, though!

Does anyone know which resorts have this offer in them? We are currently booked for the Cabins at Ft. Wilderness in January and would love to be able to use this offer on another trip we have planned for April.

Anyone know?

there was no flyer in my room, and i changed resorts. yet friends traveling with us, same two resorts, received the flyer in both rooms.

i called extension 8844 and was able to book it even though i didn't have the flyer myself.

I ended up needing to change my dates. No Pirate & Princess Party for me this year. :sad2: However, the good news is that I was able to change the ressie and keep the discount. I moved our ressie to ASMu for 9/21/08 to 9/26/08. This gives us a few days to play and the room is cheap enough that I think we can still manage to make this trip happen as well as the bigger trip that we have planned in December of 2008. :cool1: Maggie

I did the bounceback while I was there in October and got the moderates with free dining for Sept 13-21 of 08. I was so excited, we were suppose to take a year off of vacationing but with that deal being offered we had to take it.

I just got back two days ago and had to ask concierge for the flyer.

I called the number and was able to book a two bedroom villa at OKW for April.

We are staying at POR next week, and I'm really hoping they'll offer something for next year. Heck, for that kind of deal, I'd book a Deluxe for the bounceback trip; wonder if I could try to do that even if we don't get a flyer? :confused3

what is a bounceback?

An offer for which, in order to qualify for the discount, you must book DURING a previous stay in a WDW resort.

For example, I was staying November 1-5, during that time I used this room-only offer to book Pop Century in April.

They do check and confirm that you're staying at WDW. There was difficulty with mine, because I was staying at DVC and their reservation system is different from CRO.

does it require a deposit when you book it?

We booked this offer when we were there Nov 12, and yes it requires a deposit, just like any other room-only reservation - one night's rate plus tax. We were at CBR, so I know the offer is available at moderate resorts, and it's available for moderate resorts too. It's not limited to standard rooms, either. We were offered Poly Concierge Lagoon View and other "non-standard" options.

Does the deposit have to be paid at the time of booking or does it have the usual 14 day grace period?

Thanks!

On the flyer they give out it says a deposit must be put down at the time of booking, which I did, I didn't even bother to ask. When I received my invoice,
the 14 day grace period was stated.:confused3

So it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I just wanna make sure I have my facts straight about the bounceback offer...I know its offered to you while youre staying onsite but does that offer have to apply to the resort youre currently staying at or does it allow you to book another resort? For example, if I were staying at one of the values would I have the option of booking a deluxe using the bounceback?? Thanks:)

You can book whatever level of resort you would like that is available during the dates of this offer.

Can you book for more rooms than you currently have reserved at the time and can you use a different address (same name) for the booking? Moving next month after traveling.
