The gang are:
Me, Andrea ,38 planner, worrier - 'I just think I will check that again'
DH, Chris, 44 driver,porter,waiter.etc...'did you say food & drink festival?'
DD, Meg, 10, loves a guy from HSM, amongst others! want to go to a 'mall'
DD, Mimi, 5, 'pink' crown firmly in place. wand in hand
we woke up early yet again. we were waiting for the bus to AK by 8.am , having been and ate cinnamon buns for breakfast. We thought we would make the most of the early entry this morning. However, when we arrived it appeared that everyone else had the same idea and were swarming into AK :scared1:

having gained entry to the park we made our way rather speedily to expedition everest. As our girls were not riding I went 1st. The problem is that I don't do roller coasters and for some stange reason I had an image in my mind of this being AK version of MK's big thunder mountain railroad. :rolleyes:

bejezus,:scared1: I had the shock of my life. ok i have to admit it was excellent but I quite like to retain the use of my limbs and it took me a good hour before my jelly like legs would return to normal function!

After breathing into a paper bag for a few minutes:rotfl2: I felt ready to go on safari. Excellent.

then onto dinoland. for triceratops spin and Dinosaur! I was quite amazed that my dd5 loved this ride! we are on the front row of piccie.

We had lunch at Flame tree BBQ- excellent fodder for the troups.
next up was' it's tough to be a bug. DD5 was deeply traumatised by this. how come she can do dinosaur and not this?

next up was kali river rapids and lets just say that I got wetter than a trout and not for the last time on this trip.

we left about 4 pm and headed back to CSR, as the early starts were catching up with us.
