We always use to get just one annual pass, dw,dd,& ds would get non ap tickets) which gave us great discounts on on site accommodation. Just been looking at the benefits to getting an annual pass now, still seems to have the same sort of discounts as previous years, but there is no mention of the free parking. I'm sure we use to get free parking, or was it only ever Universal which gave that?
TIA.

No you still get free parking at Disney also. We have AP's for Disney, Uni, SW and Busch, free parking at them all.:)

As Wayne says, a Disney AP still gives you free parking at WDW - at least it did when we were there in August :thumbsup2

The only exception is hard ticket events like Halloween, Xmas or pirate parties when you have to pay for parking.

Not heard this before, we went in August and showed AP for P&P party. Dressed in Pirate outfits so they knew where we were going.:confused3
Been thinking about this since I posted, when do they start charging? you can go in for the hard ticket events from 4pm, the parks still open for 3 hours with general tickets and AP'S. Maybe we just went in before the cut off time but we did enter the turnstile with Pirate ticket as we then used it for getting VMK quest cards. Seems strange charging for latecomers but not if you get in early.

I've been caught out before and just seen a post on another board of someone who got caught out recently. My view is that if you arrive in time to get into the parks when they are still open normally you should not be charged for parking.

Yes but for MK you are better off using the resort buses.

Thanks all.
I was sure there was free parking in the past, having had an annual pass for about the last 6 years (except this one:sad1: ) just couldn't find reference to it. Saves a few dollars, which makes the pass slightly less expensive too. When you factor in what you save in on site costs, 'almost' a bargain!!!!!
