CSR room request

Hope some of you experts can help me out here. I am staying at CSR May 4 & 5. I normally don't stay on site since I live only 40 miles away but it will be my boyfriends first trip to Disney since 1975!!(and I got a good rate) We want to be close to the food court and of course the busses. Any suggestions?? I have looked at the maps but I know you all will have first hand experiences to share.

We have 10 nights at CSR so picking the best room for us is sooooo important. Last year, we stayed at CBR, I wanted top floor (less noise and newts), corner room (two views), near the pool (might rethink that, got noisy at times), the newest refurbed bldg. We got Aruba 52 and it was amazing.

This year at CSR we would like to be close to the Dig Site since I think we will spend most of our time there, however, I would like to be near a quiet pool and Pepper Market too! DILEMA ~BUZZ?HELP?

cabana 9a has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and the main building. 8b is near the quiet pool at 9a and closer to the Dig Site. 9b is close to the quiet pool, close to the main building and semi close to the Dig Site. Just down the walkway and over the bridge.

We loved 9B. Close to the busses and foodcourt. A big plus after a long day and we wanted to refill our mugs. We had a standard view that looked out on a small pond and some shrubbery. My husband swore he saw an alligator!!!
