Is anyone else on the April 13th sailing of the MAGIC???

I have posted before and gotten only one response!! And this family was in the same state as us!(Sorry I do not remember your screen name, but believe you were from JAMESTOWN??) Anyway we are a group of 17 on this sailing! Four couples and 9 children(ages 8-17). My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary on the cruise! Anybody else on the April13th- MAGIC ?? Hi Joan! I remember posting to your last thread! We will be on the 4/13 Magic! We are a family of 3- DH, me and DD age 10, turning 11 during the cruise! We are from CT, so we are almost neighbors!
We are going with our good friends, another family of 3. This cruise will be our 2nd 7 day & we are really looking forward to it! We will be spending 3 days before at WDW & will be doing a day at the Kennedy Space Ctr. upon return to Port. Hopefully, the 4/4 space shuttle launch will be delayed & maybe we'll get to see it. Wouldn't that be cool!

Any 10-12 yr. olds in your group? My DD had a blast in the club last time & it looks like there will be alot of kids on ship, as it is a school vacation week for many in this area.

Congratulations on your 20th anniversary! We celebrated our 22nd on our cruise 18 months ago. They will make a big deal in the dining room if you want them to. We kept it low key...

Joan S. - Were you asking about our family? - I think I did mention that my parents from Jamestown are joining us. If you recall, we have 2 sons - 15 and 11. Did you grow up in Barrington? If so, did you know any of the Hunts?

Linda, we do have 3 in our party in that age catagory. Two girls and one boy.There is also another girl that will turn 10 shortly and might be with the 10-12 ages. We have a birthday on the cruise also! One of my friends will celebrate hers on the 18th! My family of 5 will also be in WDW the 4 days before the cruise. We will be staying at the BWV .Another family will arrive on Thusrday for 2 nites at WDW.My family will be leaving WDW friday nite and spend the nite at the Raddison. There I will meet the other two families that we are traveling with. And Saturday morning the 4th family will arrive from WDW and we will all board the ship together! Joan S.

Joan S.- We will be staying at BWV Wed. thru Friday before the cruise too!We are going to drive to Port Sat. morning after we finish the laundry, since we'll have one in the room. We will be dropping the rental car off at AVIS- at the Radisson on Sat. Morning. Our friends are flying in to MCO on Sat. morning. We hope they don't encounter any weather problems...We should try to meet at the Luna Pool for a drink!

We will be staying at the Radisson Sat. night when we return, as we're going to the Space Ctr.

My daughter loves to make new friends! She still emails the one's she met from her last cruise! The 9- turning 10 yr. old should have no trouble being in the 10-12 group. Just request it when you sign her up the first day. My DD was 9 & was in the 10-12 group. I could not see her with the 7-9 yr. olds.

My email is dianthus65@aol.com Email me with your kid's names and their email address. I'll have my daughter email them and answer any of their questions about the kid's labs, ship, etc.. It will get them even more excited! Maybe we can meet at the pool before the cruise ( the Luna pool is a blast- Rollercoaster slide that exits from a clown's mouth..., or on the ship.)

We are first time cruisers sailing on the Magic, April 13th. We are not with a group, only the four of us, but look forward to meeting lots of people. The kids, Michael 8 and Victoria 6 are a little nervous about going to the activities alone. (Because of the age groups, they are not able to go together.)

To the DROPPS Welcome! I am the oringinal poster (Joan S.) just trying to find people on the same sailing as us. We sailed once before on the 4 day Wonder and had a BLAST! My son Jordan is 8 also!He is the youngest in our group and I was hoping to find someone in the same age group as him! This time he will be in the lab and he also is a little hesitant about going! ALL the others are inthe 10-12 group or teens. Jordan is in the 2nd grade and turned 8 in december,he is mature for his age (he has 2 siblings 14male and 17female). I was thinking of giving him a walkie /talkie to call me if he would like,this made him feel much better! We are all very excited about cruising!
