I am getting really excited now. We are leaving on Dec. 7th. Anyone else going this week? Where are you staying? Do you know if the crowds are indeed minimal during this week?

CANNOT WAIT FOR DISNEY AGAIN!!!

We are going 12/08-12/15, staying @ Pop! We've been this time once before, and it was wonderful......light crowds, great weather, ect....but that was back in 2000. Not sure about the crowds now:confused3 , guess we'll find out soon enough.:banana:

For us and staying at Old Key West Resort have been going earlY Decemeber each year since 1991.It seems the secret is out on early Decemeber because each year crowds increases a little.Still grreat time visit and crowds are not to bad but parks not deserted.:goodvibes :goodvibes

Hi we are going dec 8 to 15. I am very excited ! I"m consumed with it.Thats all I think about. We haven"t been back for 2 years and we usually go 1st week in Dec. I"m just thankful to be able to go back to the most magical place on earth! See all of you there!!!:santa:

We will down from 11/30-12/8 and have been counting down for the better part of 2 years as this will be our 1st official Magical Gathering and cannot wait.

There will be 3 girls (5, 7 & 9) in the group who are completely enamored with princesses so by the grace of god, I scored an ADR this past June for CRT while we are done. This should be the highlight of our trip.

we are going 11/29-12/5 and staying at CSR for the first time!! We will also be attending our first MVMCP on 12/2. It will seem weird going solo with the hubby and not having my 2 teenage sons with us!! My older son is working now and my younger son doesn't want to miss basketball practice- they are staying home with grandma!!

Going down Dec 1-9. Staying at AKL for 4 nights before switching over to CSR Dec 5-9. Attending MVMCP on Dec 4th. We are so excited we cannot wait! I'm almost feeling a little more excited when I wake my son up on the day we leave and tell him....WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!! Can't wait to see his face...:laughing:

We're going at the same time, and staying at the same resort! You wouldn't happen to have a 12 yo DS would you? This is my DS 1st trip ever without his older sister's and he think my Mom and I just won't be as much fun!:rotfl2:

Yes, my son is 12. He & I have gone the past 5 years the 1st or 2nd week of December together & have a BLAST together. Have fun & maybe we will see you there, we will be at the MVMCP on Tuesday 12/11 as well.

I'll be going December 2-7 for the very first time and will be staying the whole time at the ANKL. I'll be by myself so would love to meet up with people. Can't wait to see DW. I'm from Los Angeles so am plenty familiar with Disneyland am am thrilled to be broadening my horizons.

Cool! Haven't decided when to do MVMCP yet, but we'll be around. Right now we're debating what to do for our 1st day. He wants to head strait for a thrill ride, I think something a little more relaxing. Our flight leaves NY @ 540am.:scared1:

We'll be there Dec. 7 through Dec. 16, staying at the Contemporary. We used to go the first week of December, but decided to switch it so we'd miss most of Pop Warner -- looking forward to seeing if it makes a difference. 32 days to go! :banana:

What's Pop Warner? You all use terms and abbrebiation that I don't always get. Is there somewhere here I can go to understand them?

Sorry about that -- Pop Warner is a high school football and cheerleading competition that takes place at Disney World the first week of December. It causes big crowds of often unruly high schoolers in the parks and resorts -- some people don't seem to mind the Pop Warner kids, but we've found them to be annoying. As for other acronyms and abbreviations, I agree that sometimes it's hard to know what people are talking about, but you can always ask, and the longer you hang around these boards, the easier it gets to translate. :thumbsup2

December 5-9 for us!:banana: :yay: We're going to MVMCP on 12/6:santa: . Can't wait! I'm a little nervous about crowds after reading some of the posts, but we'll just have to make the best of it I guess. Hopefully it won't be as bad as folks think.

Dec. 9 - 13th for us - staying at AKL - can't wait to see the decorations - haven't been at Christmas time since '99, and will be my Dad's first time during the holidays. My DS 17 has decided to tag along on my father-daughter trip, so now it's father-daughter-son trip!:santa:

Going Dec 11 to 18th at YC. It's my DW and my first trip without kids and, even though our 1st anniversary was in October we are celebrating with this trip. As a mater of fact, our honeymoon was last year in WDW but we had the kids along so we'll combine our honeymoon and 1st anniversary into this trip. ;)

We leave in 11 days, DRIVING..ahhhh from MD and I have not started to pack. We visit family first :)
We Leave the 27th...arrive in Disney on the 30th and leave the 8th (tears) ...haha
Like the travel channel show...the one woman says " I cry when I arrive and I cry when I leave"... sigh.

We are leaving on the 1st--driving from Va (not as bad your trip) Getting to Disney on the 2nd and leaving on the 10th. I have just about got everything packed except for getting some new socks and hopefully finding a couple more pair of jeans this weekend, then I think everything will be packed except for toothbrushes :). I am excited I can't stand myself. I have had a really had a rough time this year (Lost my grandfater in April, my stepdad of 22 years in May , my dad was diagniosed with prostrate cancer in May and operated on in June, and lost my stepmother of 32 years in July, then moved back to Va from SC in August to help take care of my mom and dad) and I can't wait to get to Disney to make myself feel better. And relax for a little while. Seems like forever since the last time we were there and I need the break :). Hope we run into one another.

We'll be at POFQ 12/9-12/16 and can't wait! We went during the holidays before kids in '99, and then took my daughter in '03. This time we're adding DS 14 months. He's a handful so this will be interesting! Fortunately, we have a Disney-lovin' aunt and grandparents helping us out.

Staying at AKL from 12/9/07-12/15/07

The reason for the split stay is because the 40% discount started on 12/9/07; they wouldn't let me get 1 extra night with the discount prior to our original date.

We'll be there 12/10 thru 12/14 at AKL. We are doing MVMCP on the 11th. After our Disney stay, we head to the HRH at Universal.

Man, I can't wait. Put our new luggage tags on...and the ME tags as well. Makes it feel sooo real!

Count us in we'll be at CBR Dec 9-15.:woohoo: Leaving from Louisiana Dec 8.
I have DD3's Tink gifts boxed just need to wrap them. I was thinking about bringing a little Christmas tree to leave them under. I have a set of three "Charlie Brown" trees (I forget the name) pre lit with white lights. I think I'll get a set of pink to add to them and add some Princess ornaments and call it done. I made a simple wreath for the window in the shape of Minnie
with a red bow.
