I was able to use tor's neat fix to access the site, but suddenly I am getting "internal server error" message. Still able to get in using Safari, but wondering if anyone else on a Mac can get in now with Firefox or if I have an issue on my computer.

I haven't been able to use Firefox on the Mac to get into the member site for months now. I only can get in using Safari and have given up on Firefox.

I was having to delete the DVC member site cookie periodically from Firefox in order to get it to work, but now that solution has quit working. Wonder how I broke it or if there is something else going on.

Now that is really bizarre! One thing you have to say about the member site is there is always a new surprise just waiting on the next click...

Yeah, I just got the Internal Server Error on Firefox too. Having the same server error when I try to go to disneyvacationclub.com. It is okay on Safari.

I'm getting the same error on Safari, I've never had the problem before yesterday.

I am now getting the server error on both Firefox and Safari. Hoping that someone is working on it. Too bad they didn't post a message to that effect if that is what is happening.

I ,too, am receiving the "500 Internal Server Error" using the Mac versions of Safari, Firefox and Opera.

Before yesterday all worked for me.

I'm also getting a server error as well right now, must be something that Disney is doing.

But I in the past have had trouble just getting on the DVC website (signing in) on my Mac as well, but I now have this address bookmarked that I received from a e-mail from DVC tht I use now to sign into the DVC member page.

https://secure.disney.go.com/dvc/register/guestLogin?id=GuestLoginPage

I now have had no trouble getting on the member website.

I saw the thread so I thought I would try my login as well - my mac also receives the "internal server error." Geesh! :surfweb:

And here I thought the Steve and Disney were buddies . ...

I find problems on both Safari and Firefox when I try to log in to the DVC site on weekends. I think they are doing some behind the scenes work on the site that causes these browsers problems.

I'm getting the same message in Safari, but only if I use my bookmark. If I type in the address, it is working fine.

I have tried removing cookies, typing address, still server error message.

This is interesting... I just installed OS 10.5 on one of my Macs and using Safari 3.0.4 i get the "500 Internal Server Error". When i use a Machine running OS 10.4.10 with Safari 3.0.3 (Beta) then it works fine.

Looks like i will not be upgrading my laptop anytime soon.

I use a PC (not a MAC). Can't get in with either IE or Firefox.

Jean - I was able to get in yesterday with Firefox after I cleared my cache, cookies. tc. Today that trick doesn't work.

My vote says the problem belongs to Disney - it's NOT US!

debbiedoo is that when it stopped working for you?

I just loaded 10.5 on a 3rd machine and i get the same error. Looks like that could be the problem.

Recap
DVC Member site works up to 10.4.10 Safari 3.0.3 (Beta)
DVC Member site errors at 10.5 with Safari 3.0.4

All right! I was not running Safari 3.0.3 because it is Beta. I installed 3.0.3 and now I can get in! Still need to do the annual dues→vacation points→vacation details work around, but it's progress!

OK, I finally managed to get in using Safari. Here is what I had to do:

Went to disney.go.com
Clicked on "Travel" in the menu bar (to the right of the search box)
Clicked on the Disney Vacation Club icon on the left, Disney Travel, menu bar.
Clicked the Member Login selection in the DVC in the menu bar (to the right of the search box in the DVC menu bar)
Entered Member Name and Password then click Log In
I was able to get to all of my member information without any trouble.

The above did not work when I tried to use Firefox.

Good luck!

I upgraded to Leopard but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I can get onto the site with Safari 3.0.4 but not with Firefox 2.0.

It seems to be working now. I got in using Safari and went to the front porch using Firefox and the iPhone.
