November Scrapping Challenge--Scraptastic Fall Fun!

Hi everyone! Can you believe it's already November? I think someone is turning the pages of my calendar WAY too fast!

With all of the holidays coming up, you know we'll have LOTS of pictures to scrap! Whether you're catching up before you get those pictures or scrapping your recent ones, let's make November an awesome month!!

You know what to do--just post the number of completed pages you do, regardless of their size! I'll keep up with them, and we will, of course, have MOTIVATIONAL SMILIES!!!

I'm in... I plan on meeting my goal this month.. I have lots to do...so it will start next week... this weekend is out...w/ a soccer tournamet, fall festival, DH is coming home for a week long trip.. I plan on making him take control while I take a well deserved nap...
I am 10 pages short of bringing DD's 4-H book current.. I have the pages ready so it won't be long...but to find the time..

I'm not on the board yet but I did get thank you cards made yesterday for my baby showers while I was sitting in the waiting room for my glucose test. LOL Ladies kept coming and going but I had to sit there. At least I thought enough ahead to take something productive to do.

I just knew you guys would understand the work into making alot of cards. Some of the ladies who came in were like we just bought some at the store. Well I make all my cards for other occasions why wouldn't I make them for this. My one hostess even made my invites so it would look odd for me to use store bought thank yous plus this way I was able to make them coordinate with my nursery pattern. LOL yes I did it and DH was laughing the whole time I was laying out my plan. I kept taking my cardstock into the nursery to see which colors looked best.

They are actually pretty plain for me LOL but when they needed to be mass produced I went for easy. I used a sizzix die and my wishblade. I'll try to get a picture of them and post when I get a chance this weekend. Its going to be a crazy one.

I finally did some scrappin' today, after recovering from in-law day yesterday. I got 15 more pages done in the September book. My goal is to get that done to take to my parents' on Christmas Eve. As a matter of fact I can. My 24 hr shifts are on the ambulance. So if there are no calls and we have all our duties done, we can do our own thing.

AND since there has been a real shortage of sick and injured I managed to get another 16 pages done today. :banana: I am getting to start Yellowstone on next Sunday!

I have been out of the scrapping challenges for about 6 months now. I wouldn't let myself do any scrapping until I took the time and put my scrap room together. Finally got that done (I'll post some pictures soon). So this month I have been trying to make the most of it. So far....26 pages done!!

Uh, hello NOT shopping for you... but I did buy me a new printer for 25.00... and I got 2 mp3 players for 20.00.... Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Ok, I took my little nap so now I'm going to download my journalling and get it ready to print out... I need to print out a photo and than I'm going to finish some pages and enjoy the day!!!

I have just a few more pages to finish up in the 4 paper bag albums I'm completing.. tonight I will have done 80 pages... this include all 4 books and their 4 tags per book..... each book consists of 20 pages to journal...

Yeah!!! Now, tomorrow the goal is to do my own pages and start DH's Christmas album of his Wild West business trips... :)

I got 13 more done tonight, and best of all, I'm DONE with the September 2007 WDW trip!!! Whoo-hoo!! It's going to have to be in 2 albums (should be 3, because they'll end up being WAY big), and it's 237 sheets (single sheets, although some of them are part of double-page layouts, if that makes sense). Yes, we take too many pics, and I feel the need to scrap EVERYTHING that happens! :rotfl2:

Now, on to SIL's wedding album and then to our family albums!! :)

I got 78 pages done at my crop today. Not bad for the first time at a 7 hour crop. I got all the pages done for the abc books for my nieces and newphews except the cover and end page. I didn't get started on the calendars for my sisters and mom though. I have everything ready for another crop so i am trying to decide if i should go on December 13th. i would only be able to be there part of the time but I could probably get those pages completed then. I will have to see.

WOW! I got so much done on my trip to SILs. 1 entire 7x7 Wilderness Lodge album (24 sides), a magic box, AND finished my September trip - still have to count the pages on that one. (18 new) I'm happy, and retreating to my room to cut paper sure helped me destress from the family time.

Got that other page finished. So now the trip is done! Good thing as I am adding another one to scrap in less than 2 weeks.

Ok, we're updated to here! I'm sorry I didn't check in yesterday--I've had a yucky stomach thing. All better now, though!!

I got SIL's "wedding box" out the other day (the stuff she gave me to make her wedding scrapbook for Christmas). There are 47 cards in there that she got with gifts or whatever. There are 15 (yes, that's right. . .15) pictures TOTAL in there (from showers, bachelorette party, reception, etc.) NONE (and that's not a typo) are from the actual wedding! This one's going to be FUN!!!

Just 3 more days left (counting today)! Keep up the scraptacular work!! :)

Does your SIL expect you to work miracles? That'll be a strange wedding album without wedding pictures!

I think my pathetic 2 will be it for the month, unless I can get the house cleaned up in time to do some scrapping before bed. I put the tree up today (no ornaments yet, just the tree) and that always requires some furniture rearranging so it'll take me some time to get things back in order. Maybe the thought of scrapping as reward can be the motivation to do it quickly!

NEE--I'm not sure what SIL thinks I'll do! She has the pics that the professional photographer took, but all they ordered was the proofs. They haven't made time yet to do a real order (only been married 14 months! :rolleyes: ), and she won't let me use the proofs or make a "copy" of them! It's going to be FUN!!

I've got two girlfriends coming over tomorrow- non-scrappers, so I suppose it might be rude to spread my paper round at the other end of the table!

okay scrappers I am done for the month, 16 pages today. I am done with the Black Hills. The Badlands and then east to home, is all I have left. Should be able to get MOST of that done early next month.
