I really enjoyed the ToT night race, it was a lot of fun and something different that I do not get to do very often...run at night. I am an early AM girl (if you ever notice when I am posting it is mostly from 5 a.m. until noon:upsidedow ) so the PM race was fun. I would like to do another in October of next year and am torn between RFTT and ToT so I need some input. For those WISHers who have done both, which would you do again? I am, of course, figuring that the glitches :scared1: from ToT 2007 will be fixed by 2008. :rolleyes1 I am also planning on coming in January of 2009 so what fit best into your training schedule too........:confused3

I plan to do the TOT next year. RFTT is fun but it is much less frills.

Bumping this thread as we are planning a second trip to the World in Oct 08 and I am wondering if I should make it at the time of the ToT or the RFTT.

When you say less frills in the RFTT what do you mean exactly?

I did both races this year. The TOT race was much more fun. The RFTT was nice and I liked the course a little more, but it was only a race. The TOT was more of a party. I will be back!

I have not done both. But I was very disappointed by TOT and am considering RFTT next year. I won't do TOT again until I KNOW they have fixed the mess!

No race shirt unless you purchase. No transportation and no pre or post race activities. I do have to say though that the Wine and Food Festival is a great backdrop.
