If you use AOL as your dial-up ISP when you get to Old Key West, what phone number are you using that won't incur any charges (local number)? :surfweb:
If not AOL, are there any really cheap dial-up ISPs than be used for a week in the area? (I can hope, can't I? )
Thanks....

I used dial-up via aol at OKW over Labor Day...the key is to use an Orlando area code, not a Kissimee area code (Kissimee is long-distance; Orlando is not)...I don't remember the number, but I did call to check which area code to use; they told me Orlando; I used Orlando and I was not charged for the phone calls it took to dial up...
Hope this helps...

I have a lot of numbers I can use to dial up while in WDW. How do I find out which numbers are local? I am planning on using a 407 area code but two that looked promising are 842 and 992 and the first three numbers.

I can't advise you regarding specific numbers. However, if you give one of them a try you can quickly disconnect and call the front desk to see what charges were applied. If it was a local call, there should be no charges on your account.
