The AP rates are out for January.

Just revised our reservation for POR at $99.00 per night.

I can live with that.

OK, Vic, did you get $99 for each night?

I called and they wanted to charge me $149 per night for Friday and Saturday night and then $99 for Sunday night at POFQ??

What AP rate did you get? I tried to apply it to my AAA rate, only to find there wasn't availability? I'm paying $65. for the AAA rate. I wonder if I should call back!

Yep. $99.00 per night, 1/10 - 1/15. I guess it depends on which CM you talk to.

Here's the info.

Annual Passholder Room-Only Discounts

Check-in dates: 1/1/08-02/13/08. January 18-20 may be blacked out. Use code FHD. With this new code, your stay will be priced on a day-by-day basis. Rate does not apply on weekends at Value resorts.

Please note: In some cases (particularly at the Deluxe resorts and the other resorts on weekends) the AAA rate is better. Also, I'm getting some reports that online rates are sometimes higher than booking on the phone!

Sample rates:

Value resorts: $49 plus tax Standard view (Sun-Thur ONLY)
Moderate resorts: $99 plus tax Standard view (Sun-Thur ONLY)
Saratoga Springs Resort: $149 plus tax Studio
Animal Kingdom Lodge: $175 plus tax Standard view (Sun-Thur), $225 plus tax Standard view (Fri-Sat)
Wilderness Lodge: $200 plus tax Standard view (Sun-Thur), $250 plus tax Standard view (Fri-Sat)
Other resorts and room types are available

Thanks for the heads up Vic! After our stay at SSR for TOT we liked it so much that we moved from AKL to SSR for marathon weekend. Saved almost $800 with the AP rate versus AAA on a 10 night reservation..!!:cool1:

Lucky you Vic, called again earlier today and still had to pay big $$ for Friday and Saturday, even tried to book online and it was the higher rates for the weekend too!

Called for the 3rd time this morning and no AP rates for POFQ, but she did offer me POR for the $99 per night a night, so I switched.

I had a AAA rate at POFQ for $119, but $60+ tax for the three nights, will buy me a couple dinners.

Thanks Vic!

I have no idea.:confused3

To confuse matters even more, if I tried to book POR on the passholder website it wants to charge me $149 for Friday and Saturday, $99 for Sunday!

They were for the 9th thru the 18th. Friday and Sat where ten dollars more. It saved me over 100 off of my AAA rate.

Erica and I used an agent from Dreamsunlimited and he got us the $99 a night at CBR for 11 straight nights. He said he couldn't get all the nights at $99 for the POR or the POFQ. Is it possible that they only have a limited number of rooms at each resort available at the reduced rate?
