I posted these on Jackies thread but thought I'd better do my own, so here they are Ellie and I did Cinderella and Jess (without any help) did the castle. You can see where we had to fix it slightly with cocktail sticks though :rotfl2:

It's not too messy Jill but we did do it outside on a load of newspaper. The worst bit is emptying the pumpkins out! I think next year we may try a slightly more complicated design so after scraping the insides out it would be easier to do it at a table, oh also wetting the pumpkin a little allows you to almost stick the paper stencil to it :thumbsup2

Thanks Jo & that was my next question about the pattern,
I thought it might have been a plastic stencil.
Another craft for me to try won't DH be please. :rotfl:

They're brilliant Jo - unfortunately, the stencils Jackie sent me didn't come through properly so we couldn't do any this year :sad2:

They look great though :thumbsup2

It turns out that my 2 neighbours had their pumpkins pinched too, Ellie and I found them this morning on a grassy field around the corner all smashed up, why oh why do kids do things? :sad2:

Thats a shame, they must live very sad lives if they get excitment out of stealing and smashing up pumpkins.

wow how awful. It was lucky you managed to take some photos so they can last for ever and we can all enjoy looking at them for some time yet.

So sorry that you were a victim of theft and vandalism
