Just got back from DW and dh loves the pin trading. We are trying to find a nice wood display box that we can hang up on our wall to display our pins. Can anyone tell me where to find one?

thanks!

I've taken foam board, covered it with black velvet (although others have used felt, cotton, etc.) and stuck it into a frame.

Allows me to move pins around as needed.

Cyn,
I know this sounds dumb... but do you replace the glass
or leave it as a glassless frame?

Thanks!

If you want to purchase one, I've found a nice shadow box that works great for pins. Its measurements are 14"h x 11"w x 1"d (1/2" interior depth). Hinged with a clasp to keep close. If you are interested email me and I'll send you more information.

Kathy - Sorry it took so long to reply - I was away.

I take the glass out. I have heard of people who leave the glass in. With the glass out, though, it's easier to move the pins around.

I use oak frames from Michaels

Mickey2000,

Are those regular frames? I have begun to do the same type of thing as you. How and where do you put together something like that? Are the pin backs sticking out of the back?

Thanks
