Anyone interested in a DIS/DVC meet 11/23-11/28?

We will be doing a Thanksgiving trip for 11 days. Anyone interested in a meet between 11/23 and 11/28? I don't really want to plan for Thanksgiving itself, and the grandkids leave on the 23.

We'll be at OKW Friday through Sunday after Thanksgiving--Nov 23 (arrive) through Nov 25 (depart).

We may have friends with us, but I think they'll be doing their own things.

PM me if you would like to meet sometime while we're both there.

We're there at SSR 11/20 - 11/25;
I'd certainly be up for either Friday or Saturday.

Saturday works the best for us (11/24);

Friday (11/23) daytime could work but we have dinner ADR's that night.
We leave on Sunday, so we couldn't meet that day.

Okay, so I would be most interested in Saturday as well. That seems to be when we will hit the most folks. I'll keep this bumped up to see how others feel, and we'll set a specific time and place once we have a good list.

I have arranged these meets several times in the past, and we always have a GREAT time! We don't do much except meet and visit, but it's always nice to put faces to names, and we always have DVC in common, so lots to talk about there!

We would like to meet on Saturday also. Staying at SSR, so Ksp's idea would be perfect. But, we can meet somewhere else too.

I do have another suggestion....Since the holiday decor is officially up by then, and WL is noted for the most fantastic holiday decor, how about if we meet by the big fireplace in the Wilderness Lodge lobby? For those of you who haven't seen it, it would be a good opportunity, and we always like to get at least one visit there each trip.

I think that would be great! WL is so wonderful at Christmas - I love the decorations. :santa:

I will bring along my mom and dad. They are in their mid-70s and this is their first visit home!

Well, we can always make it "3:30ish", and that might help. We don't often stay much more than an hour anyway, so if you need to get to Epcot by 5:30, a bus from WL to Epcot should work nicely if you leave around 4:45.

Love to see you and those beautiful kiddies! We actually have dinner ressies at Artist Point that day at 5:30, so if we start at 3:30, we will all have plenty of time to visit and enjoy the WL Christmas decor! I'll try to remember to put my lime green Mickey head on so I'll be recognized!

Thanks to Diane for initiating the meet last Saturday!!

DW and I had a great time meeting and chatting with everyone--even my DD's liked looking for the "Hidden Mickey" by the fireplace and watching the ducks outside!

I hope everyone had/has a safe trip home and I can't wait to do it again.

Diane - while I didn't make it over to the meet (that is our nap time) it was so nice meeting and talking with you and your DH at the Nemo show! :) We arrived home today and the kids rated that show as one of their favorite things they saw. :)

Enjoyed meeting everyone last Saturday. Thanks Diane for getting us together. Sorry I had to leave so soon. I got over to ESPN in time for the game but FSU lost big time. Oh well, there is next year. Looking forward to future DIS meets.
