Do the computers you use for Internet access aboard ship have a floppy disk drive you can use? Was just wondering if we'd be able to upload vacation pics to friends and family while we're cruising.
THANKS!

No, sorry, they are terminals only. You will not be able to upload anything.

I was under the impression from other posts that the "terminals" did contain a 1.44MB floppy drive, and that was the only way that you could get pics uploaded to send via email.

Yes, they do contain floppy drives, but you cannot access them yourself. You need to go to the internet cafe at a time when it is staffed, and they will open up the cabinet for you to allow you use the floppy drive to upload pictures. Plan on having the disk virus scanned before they allow you to use it.
I did this on the December 1 Magic cruise. I sent a picture back to my co-workers to let them know how glad I was that I wasn't with them. :)
(I had read a post by Dave before our cruise that basically said the same info as above, but although I learn a great deal on these boards, I never go into a situation at WDW or on DCL with the attitude "I read this on the boards so it must be true, now Mr. CM, please do what the boards say you are supposed to do." That being the case, I asked the Internet cafe manager myself before I brought the floppy down.)
