Pool at the Contemporary

I will be staying at the Contemporary the middle of June and was wondering about the pool. How much shade is available at the pool during the day? I have been downloading photos of the pool and there doesn't seem to be many umbrellas or shady areas. I need to be in the shade as much as possible since I always burn (the red hair and light skin do it every time).

Can anyone help? Thanks......

We just stayed at CR in November and I really don't remember any umbrellas or shade at the pool. We only went swimming once, though, so I may have just missed it.

There are some tables with umbrellas by the pool. There aren't a lot of them but there are some there. Look at these pictures of the Contemporary pools (http://64.41.109.164/contemporary/index.htm).:)

How crowded do the pools get at the Contemp? There seems a lot of rooms for just 2 pools.

Not only were they not crowded when we were there in Mar '97 and Feb '98, they were practically deserted. And the hotel wasn't empty either, because we tried to extend our stay and there was no room anywhere there available. I guess most people spend most of their time at the parks.

The Contemporary gets a high number of convention and meeting guests during all months of the year (due to the very large convention center that they have on site). While this usually keeps room occumpancies high, the business travelers are not the more traditional Disney leisure guests, and don't use the pool nearly as much......
