Just wanted to post a quick update....i will do a full trip report later

our CC visit is being cut short due to noel, all excursions were canceled except sting rays. snorkling lagoon closed early......were are reporting back to the boat at 2:30. more to come later

Ok, well you know what happened in the middle so let me start from the beginning of my trip.

We started on early early early early...did i say early friday morning. We got up at 2:30 am and drove to Nashville, Tn (1 hr 45 min drive). We got to the airport and sat and waited on our 6:55 fligt, Oh yea had to stop at walmart. Would not be a full vacation if you dont stop at one walmart after you leave the house....:rotfl2: Well now we are on the plane and on your way to Orlando. We are not stopping in Orlando we are continuing on to Ft. Myers to visit family....well when we get to Orlando we have to change planes...of course i begin to panic............HOPING the luggage gets changed too....well when we get on the plane to head to Ft. Myers we find out that we have to wait a few minutes on another plane that has passengers on there that need on our plane. Well, the few minutes turn into an hour. Find out that the airport was shut down due do a security issue, no planes in no planes out, and nobody was getting on or off planes.....well finally after an hour we were cleared to load new passenger and then cleared to take off....UGH.... :scared1: was the the hint to a wonderful vacation?

Part 2 to come later....

I have some friends on the ship- wondering how rocky it is and if many are suffering sea sickness? Fingers crossed for smooth seas! Maybe you'll get to go back to Castaway Cay tomorrow since you had to cut short today?:flower3:

Highly doubt there will be a CC day tomorrow as the storm will be closer to the island at the point. The weather maps here in Central FLA have the storm passing close to Abaco (closest island to CC) on Thursday. Probably no CC for anyone this week depending on how close the storm comes and how much damage there might be. My guess for the early on the ship today for guests is so that the island CM's can prepare the island by securing/removing chairs, umbrellas, etc... Perhaps the Wonder will swing by tomorrow to pick up the island CM's?

Ok now where was i...Oh yes... the security alert at the aiprort...ok well we flew to Ft Myers had a GREAT visit with family (not going to dull you on all that)....got up Early sunday morning and headed to the port. On the way up 95 we got into lots of rain... and again .. i thought  this is going to be a rainy and yucky weather cruise. Well when we got to Port Canaveral drop off the rental and waited to check in and board the weather was actually nice. Maybe a rain shower here and there but nothing threating. Once on the ship it was nice for the sail away party and our DIS meet. WINDY but nice. We went to the show on Sunday nightpopcorn:: ....it was great it was Michael.....oh i can't remeber his last name...but he is a comedian and ventriloquist...he said he is usually on the Magic but was visiting us on the wonder:thumbsup2 After the show we went to Studio Sea and saw Mickey Mania and had a few drinks. That evening the seas picked up their motion. (and i thought it was the drinks...:rotfl2: ) There were lots of people that were not at dinner that night due to people being sick. One lady a few tables from us looked liked she could have been shrek's sister she was so green:sick:. A lady at our table went from looking good to green right before our eyes...http://bestsmileys.com/sick/7.gif..she finally got up and went to her stateroom. We left Parrot's Cay and went to our staterooom to enjoy a nice evening. Went to bed not knowing our plans for monday......but we would decide on Monday if we would go to nassau or not!! More to come later!!

Now that's just too cool! Sorry the weather isn't cooperating - but love seeing my two favorite ships next to each other!

Thanks for the pic.
Would have thought that would make CC more crowded than it looks, though.

Well we trailed the storm on the 11/1 sailing and had come rough seas...they said about 15 ft. swells. It did not bother me but there were lots of empty seats at dinner. The pools were like wave pools!! Very eery! Upon arriving in Nassau we were told that for the first time in over 3 years both of our ships were docked together!! I felt terrible for those not planning on being in Nassau but it was so neat to see! Standing on my verandah was like looking in a mirror!!

The weather in the Bahama's was just beautiful!! Of course, we were all concerned that is would be a wash out but it was the exact opposite!!!

Traveling home on Sat. night we hit the 15 ft swells again...thought I was going to fall out of bed at one point!! LOL

All in all it was a wonderful cruise and I can't wait to go again!

Well, not exactly. The Wonder was having a special 4 day cruise for Thanksgiving and Thursday was our day in Nassau. We docked just fine and it was a beautiful day. Friday was our day at sea and the captain decided that since we were in the neighborhood, we should sail over to pay the Magic a visit. Saturday we docked at CC under sunny skies.
