Okay, it has been a while since I have visited the boards, my last trip was this past January for my DD's 5th birthday. I just got an e-mail from Disney Rewards with a great deal that we want to take advantage of so of course I came to my favorite Disney website but it seems that things have changed. I thought they had a section just for deals that are out there?? Am I mistaken and remembering something that was never so:confused3

This would be a last minute trip for us so I have tons of questions, hopefull I can get some answers on a few of them?? We would be going Feb. 3 - 9, who has been at that time and how are the crowds? I live around New Orleans and that is Mardi Gras week and our kids are on vacation. When I book my trip how much do I put down? How close to my arrival date can I cancel and get all of my money refunded?? (You never know if something will come up:eek:

Thanks for all your help, I can't believe I have already forgotten everything that I did to prepare for our last trip

Welcome back I can only tell you that I go in December and I always pay for the insurance as you just never know. For Dh and I for 7 night with dining and 6 day park hopper tickets and we are staying at Wilderness lodge I only
had to put 500.00 down. Hope that helps.
One question for you. Do you think you can bless and gobble me. Thanks

Thanks for all the warm welcome backs, I did not realize how much I missed these boards until I came back!!

Unfortunately I am not too sure if our trip will happen or not. When we did all the math it did not seem like that great of a deal. We have never done the dining plan but wanted to try it out the next time we went. With this new way of doing things it would cost us about $1000 just for food and I just don't think we will eat that much food. This was supposed to be a surprise cheap trip for our kids! I am sooo bummed, I want to go sooooo badly. Hopefully it will happen after all!!
