Wow, I was able to learn so many things from this board! My family of 6 (Wife, myself, DD12, DS11, DD7, DD4) are booked in two adjoining Cat. 10s for the Magic on 4/6. We are trying to get off Deck 1 and maybe into a Cat. 7 or 8 adjoining pair. I have requested the PLA dinner rotation - is that the one to do? Additionally, we are on the wait list for the early dinner seating which I believe should be best for our youngest ones. (We will probably dine twice at Palo's.) We are doing our own airfare and have not settled on Transport to the Port and don't know if the Limo or Disney bus is the way to go. Lastly, what is the deal with the wine package? Is it a good way to go? Well, two more things: Good value excursions for the family and does the Cruise Mug include beer or just sodas?
Thank you for any advice you all can offer me and my family!

You will probably be able to get the early dinner seating...there are usually people that change their mind after the first seating. Also, I'm 99% positive that the mugs are only good for soda...and not beer...but if you want soda, they are perfect...one price at the beginning of the cruise, then you don't have to worry about carrying around money all the time just to get something to drink (plus you get a cool souviner). Also, the Disney bus is just fine for transportation to the port. Limo would probably cost more, and as far as I remember, the Disney bus transport is free. Also, the kids will love this vacation and so will you and your wife...this cruise if perfect for ANYONE! Have fun=)

Our family will be on that cruise also!

This forum has been a great planning tool in helping us (first time cruisers) feel prepared!

Now, if I could only figure out how to make the next month go quicker...:bounce:
