Cars attraction for Disneyland?

I was chatting with a CM at Disney World last week, and he mentioned he heard a rumor about a Cars attraction for Disneyland Resort. He thought that he heard it would either be something new at California Adventure, or a revamp of the Autopia at Disneyland.

Has anyone else heard anything like this? I'm just curious...

Sorry not Disneyland...but they are pouring more money into that sinkhole of a park DCA. You can read all about it in this thread.

Oh, for a second I thought you were talking about a CM at DisneyLAND, then I thought wow, he must be out of the loop!

Yes, a massive section of DCA is going to open as a CARS land.

It appears the ride will be a bit like Test Track. That is, a bit of a thrill ride, unlike the autopia or Tomorrowlan Speedway
