Hi,
I have a voucher for Mears to bring us to the hotel from the Airport. ( Purchased our land/sea package through Disney) We want to get to the hotel as soon as possible!!
I heard that mears won't leave the terminal until the bus/van is filled and then stops at every hotel along the way!!???!? We are coming in a day earlier than the normal land/sea cruise crowd so that is why we have Mears and not the Disney bus. Should we just take a taxi to get there sooner or is the mears shuttle really not that bad?
Thanks for any advice!!!

Mears is the Disney bus. A taxi will cost about $50.each way. We use Tiffany towncar service. It is about $80 round trip with a half hour grocery stop included. It is wonderful the driver meets you at the luggage pick-up with a sign with your name on it. He will have a luggae cart with him& will help with the luggage. Before 9/11 the car was waiting right outside for us...now you will have to wait 10 min for the driver to get the car. You can get a $5.00 coupon on thier web site. http://tiffanytowncar.com/ ask for Brain as your driver.

We have been converted from Mears to Happy Limo! A towncar is cheaper than a taxi and, unlike Mears, you don't stop everywhere else in creation after being loaded in like a saradine. We have used Happy Limo on our last several trips and wouldn't do it any other way. I have their coupon on my website. A towncar service is well worth the cost versus taking Mears (and it's cheaper than Mears for a larger group anyway).

I believe they are $80 also (before the coupon), and they offer the free grocery stop too.

Mears is too high, too long and too crowded. We used Cesear's Transportation. Four people $45.00 one way. The town cars sound like a good choice too.

I agree - in March last year, Mears took over 40 minutes to finally arrive with the correct bus we needed!!! I was so mad! We could have already been checking in! Everytime we fly we use them but not this time! Its Happy Limo for us! :-)
