Our rate in June was $149 per night. There is a swan dolphin thread with discounts. It was a great resort and a great deal compared to the other Epcot area resorts.
Here is the number to call for Reservations 888-828-8850. They should be able to answer your questions about teacher rates or you could use Dreams Unlimited.

I just called that number to check it out. I had no idea that there was a teachers discount. They quoted me a rate of 179.00 per night, plus 25.00 for a rollaway, We have 5 in our party. I think that the only thing that I was disappointed about is the fact that they dont participate in the dining program, however, they do participate in the extra magic hours. Has anyone ever stayed here, what resort is it comparable to? I am currently booked at the BC as my children are dying to do SAB, but I could save alot of money and pay for food on the extra days if I did a split stay. Just a thought. That might be alot of hassle too. Has anyone ever done a split stay smoothly or was it a pain?

They are fabulous hotels and have the best beds bar none. They are Deluxe hotels and that is how they feel. Switching hotels is a bit more trouble than switching between all disney hotels because they don't do the tranfer for you if I remember correctly, whereas they do if it is between Disney hotels. If you have a car to transport the luggage then it is pretty easy, you could transfer it by cab of course too. OH be aware that there is a $10. per day parking fee at the Swan and Dolphin. you have to add that to your costs if you do have a car.

when i looked for january 2008 there, the rates were 324 a night for the "worst" rooms....even with the discount it only went down like 50 bucks a night..wonder what I am doing wrong!
