It is certainly possible that there is no DVC inventory available at this late date. Any unreserved DVC inventory is made available for cash reservations through CRO at 60 days out. And with Food & Wine winding down at EPCOT, it is a popular time.

not only that, but you've got a holiday in there. Monday the 12th is the celebration of Veterans Day (it's actually the 11th).

I called months ago and there wasn't any availability for that weekend (I was just looking for studios but they did say there was no availability anywhere).

WDW has been very busy this year and it's not at all unusual to have no inventory for last minute trips at popular times.

Also, I see you're from NJ...That week happens to be known as Jersey Week at WDW because lots of people from NJ will be there that week due to schools having off for the teacher's convention. You really need to book early for that specific week.

I think this is a result of all those single and double developer points they have been giving away. With the resorts sold out, where do these points come from? :confused3 :confused3 No wonder you can't get a room.

I called for the night of October 14 (Sunday) about 3 weeks before and there was nothing at DVC resorts on points, any room size. I ended up booking POFQ for 18 points.

I disagree. What is happening is what has happened for years. DVC is sold to be 95%+ occupied. At certain times of year, its going to hit 95% occupied relatively quickly. At other times its going to be a few weeks out. Occasionally, you'll get lucky and something will be available short notice.

Jersey Week and Veteran's Day are part of the "DVC is going to book faster" times of year.

This is one of those things that's really critical for people evaluating DVC to understand. The resorts are sold to operate at capacity. This has two big effects on members. The first is that three weeks out there is often no room at the inn. At certain times of year, there is no room at the inn five months out. The second is that if you get there and discover yourself looking at the dumpster, there may be no where to move you to if every other room is booked or in maintenance.

November 8 is only a week from Thursday so I would be shocked if there had been availability with all that is going on that time period.
