Sounds reasonable to me. We've just booked indirect flights for £600 each for Easter.

Just booked direct from MAN - MCO
Only problem is is the return journey it's asking to pick seats in Premier seats but there are only 2 seats to pick and they are not even close to each other
Does that mean
1) I have to pick these seats
2) There is no way i we can get's seats together even if we arrive at the airport early
Thanks

If its not the school hols then I think its a bit OTT, but I dont see the value in PE, I just returned from LAX this morning in economy, slept most off the way no problem, PE would be a waste for us. Outbound we had option to upgrade for £100 each, I would not even pay that.
We have paid £410 (+2000 miles) each direct with Virgin in economy for Easter school hols (fly Easter Sat for 2 weeks)
Others will only travel PE and probably think its worth it.

Sounds about right :thumbsup2
I paid £688 for PE LGW-MCO end Jan/early Feb next year. Worth it to me :)

As i said earlier i've booked on the Virgin Website
I did not know i had to have all my accomadation details and passport with me at the time of the booking
I booked in work on impulse and still looking for a nice accomadation with a budget of about £800 for the 2 weeks
I'm really worried now i think i may have screwed things up with the booking and i really hope we can sit together on the way home or i'm going to have one unhappy girlfriend on my hands on the way home :confused3

Check in online, as they open a few extra seats then or at DTD to get the best chances of getting the seats you want, although you will nearly always be sat together.
As for accommodation and passport no worries that can be sorted nearer the time :)

Don't worry about it - all the seats are not available to book online, they hold some back for actual check-in.
Check-in online 24 hours beforehand, and make sure you get to the airport 3 hours in advance.

Sounds about the right price to me. We normally pay around £500/£550 one way or another - usually using our Virgin Miles, but, I know that £700 is about the cheapest you will get a PE seat otherwise. IMHO easily worth the money, especially on the MCO route where the PE is upstairs, which I would strongly recommend you try and get. The ambience is much better and secluded and certainly augments the PE experience.
As people have said I think you should be ok getting 2 together as long as you are on the ball.

My DM is flying in January and was quoted £400 to upgrade to PE for the return flight.

Tony - am a little lost. Do you mean return PE economy will be £700 total for PE each way? If so, that's a really good deal. Try to get in the bubble if you can though - it's much quieter.

I read it as just the return flight upgrading to PE. :confused3

Indeed it is just the return that is £90 extra to return PE
For some reason Virgin wanted an extra £650 to go there PE :confused3

It will be because of seat availability.
