View Full Version : I always have to do a budget trip, but what is your opinion about when to go?

I booked bouncback for next September, five days at ASMU, deluxe dining etc... for 1700.00. That is for two grown up adults, a ten year old adult, and 6 year old kid.

Then we got to talking about maybe (GASP) actually going somewhere else this summer and maybe pushing off the trip to WDW to closer to Christmas or the week after Turkey day(08) or even Jan or Feb of next year, I guess that would be 2009! :eek:

So when is the best time to go not only crowd wise, but budget friendly?

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas there are fewer crowds and it is value season. But tell me this: Why would you ever want to go anywhere else?:confused3

I know, I can't imagine going anywhere else...

The thing is that we have gone five years in a row now, and need to see other things!

One of the hard things in life...deciding NOT to go to WDW!!!

For us, so far, the absolute best week to go is the last week of April (as long as it's not a late Spring Break year). We went last year the week after the rates went back down after Easter and it was honestly perfect. No crowds, beautiful weather, reasonable rates.
