I can't imagine what you must be feeling right now Taryn. I know that you are an only child and that you are all by yourself right now when you truly could use friends to be at your side.

The grief comes in waves now, but it will get a little better with each passing day. My good friend also lost her child recently, she told me to keep busy. Of course you can take a few days and just stay in bed with the covers over your head, I did that too.

I am overwhelmed. I try to be tough and was hesitant to let Ray share this information with you all, but I am glad I did. My mom was able to come and help with arrangements earlier today. I’ve decided on a few weird things… but they feel right in my heart.

I just want to say thank you for all the kind wishes expressed. I am so lucky… I have hugs coming from all over the world! How many people can say that? Hugs for all of you who have sent messages today. For those of you for whom Ray’s message brought forth personal memories… here is an extra hug for you.

And yet another hug for Ray… thank you for doing this… I didn’t even know I needed it…

Who knew all this hugging could make one so tired… I am going for a nap and I will see you all very soon.
