Never really got into this series when it was shown on Sky.

I've just had a nosey on the Walmart site and they have it for $40. I could use this as a stocking filler for Tom;)

Can anyone recommend this series or is it not worth the money??

YES, YES, YES, YES and again YES!! This is the best TV show in, I think, forever. Florence honey, you don't know what you are missing!

IMHO, this is what Lost should be - it's about a gadzillion times better! But it hasn't finished here yet, so if you watch it, don't tell me the ending!

It is a sci-fi show, but with mass appeal because the storylines are so compelling. I can't recommend it highly enough.

It scares the hell out of me, but I'm still glued to it each week. And it gets better all the time.

Definitely worth getting - I love it, much better than Lost IMHO. Similar to early X Files in watchability (if that's a word!!).

As an aside, I'd agree with Sue - Dexter's really good. Loved the first series, really unusual. Need to not be scared of blood though!

Well you have all convinced me:thumbsup2

Tom watched Dexter when it was shown on FX, he loved it. I didn't enjoy it, didn't mind the blood. Just couldn't get my head around a serial killer getting away with murder, even though it was justified at times.

You mean it has an ending? I thought the director was just making it up as he went along:rotfl:

Good though, I'm hooked.

We got the DVD box set shipped over from the US and watched about 12 episodes back to back one weekend. It is the best thing I have seen in ages. I am really hooked. Can't wait for series 2 :thumbsup2
