In case anybody wanted to know, GA (now CGA) will be getting quite a few things in the upcoming years.

-Firefall

-Ice skating show, which will be a good marketing tool to attract the families
-Halloween Haunt similar to Knott's down south
-Longer hours which is a good thing since the park hasn't been open past 8 or 9 the past few years.
-New name, California's Great America

-Wooden roller coaster built by Great Coasters International. Rumored to be a clone of a ride in MN called Renegade. Here's a pic:

That's cool, thank you! I missed getting to go there during my reunion trip this year (I grew up in San Jose), but maybe next year or the following I'll be able to get there, and have new things (along with all the other "new" things since the last time I was there).

Ice show, eh? What would be cool is if they had an ice skating rink open to the public...or, well, the ticket-buying public, that is.
