I was just checking out the dinner menu online and I see that the Surf and Turf is $54 and the whole lobster is $55.
Does anyone know if we can choose these entrees on the Dining Plan?
I know that it's two service credits to eat there, but this will be our special dinner out since it's my parents first time to Disney...
So if I get the most expensive appetizers/entree/dessert it would be $78 not including a drink or tax/tip!

Those items were on the DDP during our Narcoosee's visit in late August.

Both items were available on the DDP when we went there on 10/9/07.

It's very good and it's exactly what I'd order for myself - even without the dining plan. Enjoy it!!

Yep DH ordered surf n turf last spring. Their desserts are TO DIE FOR. I had the key lime creme brulee and DH had the almond cheesecake. YUM.
Oh, and we also HIGHLY recommend the crab cake for your appetizer- almost 100% crab, not breadcrumbs....

Save yourself some $$$ and go to the Boston Lobster Feast on I-Drive where you can pig out on all the lobster (+ a ton of other seafood offerings) you want. Very decent for the money - about $40.00/pp:

I am so glad to see another person post what you said:thumbsup2
Granted the atmosphere is lacking but the lobster is great if you want to eat 2 or three lobsters for your meal. My dh would find our whole WDW trip lacking if he could not indulge in the all you can eat lobster at Boston Lobster.:lmao:
Yes it's available. We both just ate there last week and both got the surf and turf. Our bill came to $198 (ddp) and $20 bar tab; plus we tipped an extra 10% since we had outstanding service. Got the cheesecake and it was great as always.

and save $15. a plate.....
It would not be Narcoosie's view, their service or the collection of other dishes.
We used 2 cr each to enjoy the Surf & turf, I did not want to battle the lobster. Allen our server was quick to say it was presented to eat easily, I still wanted the filet.:scratchin
If I had the DDDP I would eat there again....and maybe again within 7 days!

I was actually wondering how they serve the whole lobster. I have never had one, only the tail. I am squimish about eating things that still look like animals (the fish with the eyes looking at you is freaky!) :sad2: Is that kind of what it is like when you order a whole lobster? I want all the meat, but not the body!
Maybe I should just stick to the Surf & Turf!

... except that Boston Lobster Feast doesn't participate in the Disney Dining Plan... :teeth: so it'll actually cost the OP more.

You get the tail, the claws and the shell of the head. The body is not on your plate, and everything is pre-cracked for you.

Can you ask for the body? I really like the hidden meat in the legs and where the legs attach.

I don't know if you can ask for the body or not. They are pretty accommodating there and I would think that if you asked they would give it to you.

I've never had the whole lobster there, just the surf and turf, but it was delicious! I love Narcoosee's. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. One of our favorites when we go to WDW (dining plan or no). Its also a great place to celebrate special occasions. Enjoy! :thumbsup2
