Been so busy finding pins my kids will like that I haven't thought of my own!!

...but I finally went through the pinpics site, and my absolute favorite ones so far are those Tinkerbell pins with the different colored backgrounds (lavender, green). Are these recent releases or are they hard to find? Just wondering as I prepare for my own first pin trading experience down at DisneyWorld!!

Well, Sharon, you certainly have good taste!

The Tinkerbell color series has been very popular -- but Tink always is.

The first pin -- green -- was released in late November (I think) and the pink and lavendar in the last week or two. There are two more colors yet to come.

These pins are an edition size of 1953 -- kind of low -- so would be a hard trade anyway. But since it's Tink, and part of a set, it is a little harder.

Good luck trading. You never know...the right pin at the right time...and you may come home with what you want. :D

Thanks for your reply. I also now realize that these are Disneyland pins and not DisneyWorld pins, so does that mean they won't be on CM lanyards at DisneyWorld? (Maybe they are too rare anyway?)

I doubt that you will find them on the CM lanyards (but then you never know).
Your best bet might be the Contemporary Friday night pin trading. Tink might have winged her way from the West Coast into someone's pin bag.
