New Traders At 2/15 Contemp Meet

Thanks to everyone who helped my niece Stacy and her son Damien (11) from NJ at Friday's Contemporary meet. It was their very first pin meet ever, and they were excited to be a part of the action. Stacy traded for Pooh and Damien traded for Pluto. Thanks again to Kathryn for assigning helpers to get them started.

yippe yippee yippeee, I wish I could have traded with them too. I had so many directions to go all at one thime. I wanted to make sure they got to do some trading. I thought it was really cool how everyone cheered for them as they each made their first trade. So everyone two more new memebers of the Contemporary family.

Everyone come next week before the Princess Ball OK???

You're all welcome very much. It was a pleasure and an honor to be lucky enough to be the other half of Damien's first trade. He's such a gentleman! And I was happy to know that my DL Easter Pluto went to a really good home! Oh, and by the way, Damien - my hubby really liked his DS Mickey's Birthday Party pin. He didn't have that one and he was really puny because he's sick. So it really cheered him up. So we both came away winners - yeah for us! I hope we get the chance to trade again real soon!

And for those that weren't there to see it: he wasn't expecting a round of applause - it was really funny to see the look on his face. We've all been through it, I had to pass it on! Happy trading!

Yep she was his first trade, and you know what they say you never forget your first trade. after it was all said and done we made the announcemrent and the whole place starting cheering. (First Trade First Trade)

Yes folks this is what pin trading is all about, plus my family really gets a kick helping newbies.

Like Lauree, I was the other half of Stacy's first trade. (You guys shoulda seen her face when she turned to my Tigger page!!!) It was a pleasure to meet you and your relatives, Stacy, and I can only hope from the deepest part of me that we will meet again. (Only, by then, you'll be a great pin-trader and I...well, I'll just have more pins!) Hopefully, your pin-trading path is only starting to unfold. Hi it's me Stacy of the Stacy and Damien 1st traders on 2-15-02
I just wanted to Thank EVERYONE for being so nice to my son and myself. Damien was so excited and when we left he was still talking about it
When everyone applauded he turned like 3 shades of red it was such fun and I know he loved every second of the embarrassment:)
Thank you Heather for trading with me ( while eating french fries) I love Pooh and Friends and if you ever have extras let me know cause I will trade again for sure
In November we are going to Disney Land so when we come back to WDW next year I will have my pins bag full
