Aquatica Soft Opening?

This may have been asked before, but does anyone have any idea if Seaworld will do a soft opening of Aquatica before the Official Opening in March 2008? We will be there the last 2 weeks of Feb and were just wondering.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what is this Aquatica? We will be there first part of April 2008 and wonder if we should plan on attending/riding whatever.

A new water park owned by, and across the street from, Sea World. Among the highlights will be enclosed water slides that take you through a pool with Commisor (sp?) dolphins, two lazy rivers (one slow ride past aquariums filled with tropical fish, one more of a rapids ride), and two wave pools. If things turn out as promised, basically the next generation of Wet n Wild or Typhoon Lagoon.

To the OP, I work across the street from Aquatica and know several SW employees, so I will post if I see or hear anything. Doubt there will be word before, say, January at the earliest, though.

Having several friends that work for Busch Entertaiment (they own SW, BG, & Aquatica) I would say if they have a soft opening it would be limited to employees, their families and possibly sponsors.
