October 07 is Finally here, Day 4

Well, I'm feeling better and we made it to Epcot today! Did all the good rides, and some that were just so so, in my opinion. We got there at 9:45, and stayed till 5. We liked it, it was a nice change of pace from Uni, but we're going to spend all day there tomorrow, so I'm psyched about that. We did Soarin, Test Track, Mission Space (Orange of course), Nemo, Living with the land boat tour thingy, Journey into Imagination with Figment, Honey I shrunk the audience (not in that order, but you get the idea, we got more done that I thought we would.)

So we went to Italy for dinner. What a disappointment! It was HOT today, 91 and humid. So we were looking forward to sitting in a nice cool restaurant and eating.........yeah right. If there was a restaurant in Italy we couldn't find it, remember we were Epcot virgins! We had a piece of pizza, and a "sparkling water" and had to sit on the concrete sidewalk to eat!! We barely found shade, that was terrible!!! The pizza was really good, but the water was basically seltzer water........YUCK!!!!! Anyway, I have a bunch of pix, but I'm to tired to go through resizing them and posting them, that will have to wait for another day.
We had a good time, but we like Uni and IOA better, that's just us!

Jodie, I have only been to the one BMG show, that I saw half of, got tix to go back this Saturday, Sherry and Zak want to see it again as well, so this time, all 3 of us will have a good time! (this one's filed under "we're on vacation, I don't mind spending the money ;) )

Mike....sorry you had a bad meal...LeCellier in Canada is a great steakhouse (if this message catches you in time). The restaurant in Italy was closed and being replaced with a new one.... and it does "sit back" behind that courtyard in Italy (where the pillars, jugglers and mimes are) ...sorry you missed it...IF it's open again/yet? But, glad to hear you are likin' Epcot! (More of an 'adult' place imho)

Hey Mike - If I recall correctly the ful service restuarant in Italy recently cloesd and is being refurbished & taken over by a new owner. Sorry you weren't able to sit in a cool place to enjoy your meal.

It's only the 2nd time, but it WILL be the charm, I'll make sure of it ;)
As far as Italy goes, didn't see any jugglers or any of that kind of stuff there, but it was getting toward the end of a long and hot day, so I was a little less patient than normal :confused3

The one pic of me texting on my cell phone was my wife rubbing it in that I can't go more than a day or 2 without doing something that has to do with my business! I was texting with a band about their studio time next month, I'm my own secretary! :)
