Hello all
Got back from 5 ngts at Disney at the weekend and had a fantastic time! Halloween is definately a great time to go. The characters seemed to make a beeline for my 5 year old and she met so many of them, one very happy child. Snow White told her how pretty she looked in her Elizabeth Swan dress and she got to bounce with Tigger :goodvibes
Had a question though about the music played while there as I wanted to sort out a CD. I have the "Just Like We Dreamed It" music and the "Halloween Lo Ween". However I'd love to get hold of the "happy happy happy happy halloween" one and also the song I think is called "Boo To You" which might be the one played when the pink witches do the parade. Can anyone help?
Now to see if we can save enough to go back next Halloween!

We must have been there the same time!!!
I actually wanted to ask this as well - The only CD's they seemed to sell was the Christmas one, Halloween-lo-ween, and Just Like We Dreamed it..
I am dying to get hold of a copy of Boo To You and, as painful as it was to constantly hear in the park, I want Tous En Train as well - did get kind'a catchy lol

You'll find a listing of the current cds here (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/cdarchive/). DLRP operate a mailorder service if you are looking to add to your collection :)

I never never never never want to hear "Happy happy happy happy Halloween"
That’s what I wrote in my trip report for 31.October last year about it:
As you may have heard they used for the 90 minutes until the parade started only one 2 minutes song. And so we heard this stupid song “Happy, happy, happy, happy Halloween let’s all celebrate!” a million times. It was like bodily injury. Many quests started boohing! And then finally the parade starts.
I still get a headache if I only read "Happy Happy..." :scared1:
It was one of the most awful experiences I have ever made at DLRP!

We just got back on the 20th! I haven't listened to my CD's yet but did hope that the Hallowe'en one had Boo to You on it somewhere..I guess it hasn't then?
As for being home and still singing...my DH keeps singing the Animagique one and it is driving me mad...only *** I find myself singing it two minutes later!:cool1:
Re the Characters, my DD gave up trying to get autographs and photos with the characters in the parks. I'm sorry, but there were just so many pushy kids and adults who pushed their pushy kids, I'm afraid my well-mannered kids just couldn't retaliate! They now have a pristine autograph books to take to WDW next year.
I did witness a man having a real go(in French) at a CM who was with a character and who basically just didn't give a damn that some kids couldn't have their turn. His kids were in tears. What happened next? My kids let his kids in before them........

Awww Lesley, thats a really great thing you're kids did. It's such a great shame that well mannered children that have been brought up properley lose out when it comes to meeting Disney characters! I really thought that Disneyland Paris would have sorted this problem by now, the queuing system in Florida works so well.
Hope you all had a great time, we're off at 4am!

Sharpen your elbows Ruby! It's not just the kids who are pushy!
I don't like being negative, but I really feel DLP lacks the people management skills of Florida. Another example i that when entering a cinema type situation, people will just sit in the first seats they come to so you have to squeeze past them to get along the row. There were also some who talked the whole way through shows! Whether they were translating or what I don't know but it was SO annoying. They smoke and eat hot dogs in line too and nobody tells them off!!!!!Ahh! Deep Breath!:rotfl2:
Have a wonderful time! I'm sure you will. Where are you staying?

We didn't have a problem with the characters as most of the time there were only a few around them. We didn't bother with Mickey who was really mobbed.
I think the system they had with the princesses/woody/jessie etc were pretty good.
I came back with the Halloween Lo Ween single (can't say I'll bother with the remixes!). Wished they had Boo To You on as well.
