well i've FINALLY booked the room reservation for DD and me for early November.....yes, 2 weeks from now - (and if you think that's last minute - i still haven't booked the domestic flights to get us from detroit to orlando and back  that's still to be finalized..,..however, we do have the pond crossing plane tickets)
but the disney room is booked - and i even got an AP rate at this late date...
we'll be staying at ASMu...
with the AP rate, the room for the entire 11 nights will cost less than 2 nights in the deluxe resort we usually stay in -
as i said in the header - Wayne would be proud...

Glad you got a great rate, have a fantastic time.
My feet are dropping off laid here tonight. Walked around Disneyland twice and nipped into California Adventure for a couple of hours 4-6pm. then back into Disneyland til it closed at 8.
Back over there tomorrow, booked 9.30am walking in Walts footsteps tour. Did 4 days of walking in Vegas and Grand Canyon before we got here also. Will be glad to get back to work for a rest:rotfl2:

i just thought of two more things for DD and me to see
spaceship earth refurb - i'm not sure if it's re-opening on the 13th or 14th...we leave on the 14th at the crack of dawn, so hopefully it's the 13th...
Mission Space - the wimp side - DD and I have never been on mission space, only DS rides it (over and over and over)....

finally persuaded DS to try Mission:Space (the wimp version) last year, knowing he'd love it as he adores simulators, he rode it three times in a row! I just about managed it although felt a little queasy after the third go - but then, Star Tours makes me queasy too!

I did Mission Space 2 years ago before they introduced a wimp side and was ill for the rest of the day  I happily ignored all the notices, as DH was saying 'Come on, it's Disney, how bad can it be?' :rolleyes1
Travelled back on the bus with an improvised sick back just in case. NEVER again :sad2: My DS thought it was wonderful :confused3

DD, DH and I knew we'd be in trouble for the rest of the day (at the very least) if we rode it..
so we played in the back of the attraction (the group game) which was a lot of fun...
DS LOVED mission space and had no ill effects at all...

they just changed the operational schedule for epcot..
spaceship earth was originally listed as being closed nov 1 to 13th, but now the operational update site is listing it as closed throughout november, december and january....only re-opening in February (the 18th or 19th)
