Nikon Coolpix L15 vs. FujiFilm Finepix z10

I am looking for a basic point and shoot for my mom to replace her current Nikon Coolpix. Her camera, right now, drives her crazy with the lag time in between pictures. I can't seem to find many reviews of the newest coolpix online---do any of you have any advice or suggestions??

One review on Amazon for the Coolpix L15.. no idea how it compares to the Fujifilm, but apparently there is a 4-5 second delay between pics if using flash:

"The only draw back I can think of is the delay between shots utilizing the flash. I think I wait about 4-5 seconds before I can take another picture. This doesn't really bother me since I use this outdoors during the day."

One other thing to consider is the Coolpix uses AA batteries and the Fujifilm has a lithium ion battery pack.
