Train station and car rentals - help!

I have heard about Amtrak going to Kissimmee but I am wondering if it goes to Orlando, too. Also, does anyone know what car rental agencies are at either location? l

Any train from the Northeast which serves Kissimmee also serves Orlando (and Sanford, Winter Park, etc). The Sunset Limited, from Los Angeles, is the exception, as it terminates at Orlando (and Auto-Train stops at its special terminal in Sanford). Amtrak has a rental agreement with Hertz, who should have a manned rental desk and cars available in the Orlando station; rental cars are "on-call" from Kissimmee (they pick up and transport you to another Hertz facility), though this is the closer station to WDW.
