Any room at the YC that you really were unhappy with?

We'll be staying in a standard room at the YC the week before Easter. I think I'm more excited than the kids at finally swimming in Stormalong Bay.
I've been trying to figure out if there are any standard rooms that are really good, or any area that people were unhappy with.
Can you share your experiences?

One time a few years ago, my DH and I had a standard room at YC. The room was fine, but the location was awful. Ground floor near the elevator. All night long, you could hear the bell when the elevator arrived, plus all the noise people made when they got on and off the elevator. So, I'd definitely ask for a room away from the elevator!

As mentioned above, stay away from rooms too close to the elevators or the laundry rooms. They tend to be a little noisier. I also stay off the ground floor. That's just me, but I like to be a little higher, like the 3rd or 4th floor. It seems as view is better if you are higher.

We have stayed in many rooms at the YC, and were always happy. You will love the resort and the convenience of the location to everything!!!:)
