San Jose - best places to eat etc??

hi there!!

Looking for a wee bit of help please :confused:

My husband is going to San Jose next week, for 13 nights on a course, he is booked in at Clarion San Jose, and looking for good (decent priced) places to eat at night etc.

they will be going into San Fransisco at the weekend - he has his orders and shopping list......its long!!:rotfl:

Any advice, ideas would be gratefully appreciated.:thumbsup2

Gordon Biersch has good food and good beer if he likes that sort of thing, but I would send him to E&O Trading Co. to eat, he can sit at the bar and order small plates. The food is asian fusion, and it is delicious. Have him order the corn fritters, satay, actually anything on the small plates. The small plates aren't too expensive and the quality is really great. He can't go wrong with Original Joe's either, HUGE portions of italian food, and decent prices. There's also some places around that are great just to grab and go, they have mongolian hot pot kinds of places which are always good. They also have good Thai food. I would encourage him to walk around the main areas and peruse menus.
