GCV. I have no interest in the Contemporary and have never been to HI. I'm sure I will try both of those at some point but for now my excitement is reserved for GCV. :woohoo:

We own and have added on at the Boardwalk. I thought that was pretty much it because DH thinks we have more than enough points. (I don't see how that's true if I am always in borrow mode.) Anyway, yesterday I casually say, "Oh, did I tell you Disney is planning on building a DVC place in Hawaii?" and he responds by saying something like 'we'll really have to look into that and maybe get enough points for a trip every three years.' Personally, I was in shock. I can't believe he is even considering it. I guess it doesn't hurt that we are going in February after waiting 14 years to go back because it was so expensive. DVC has to be a better deal. On the down side, he did mention that we'll be 115 when it expires, if it's a 50 year deal, but a girl can dream, can't she?

I wouldn't own at any of them, but recent reports about the California parks have me wanting to visit there with the family or just with DH.

I'm most excited about GC, I've been waiting along time for this. Next would be Hawaii.

Although, I like GVC....I'm obviously allowed to pick only one. I want a monorail, MK DVC...therefore....it must be ....CRV.

Hawaii. Wont even want to stay at CRV.

I'm pumped about CRV, the wife about Hawaii.

Hawaii since it's going to make a trip there more affordable but I really want CRV for an add on!

I am waiting for CRV. However, with the recent DCA upgrade announcement, I am once again considering a GCV add-on as well.

Concerning Hawaii & GCV, I am excited for other members who may be able to take advantage of them. But with only 50 units at GCV, it seems the odds of getting in without owning there are small. And we just visited Hawaii last year, so we won't be going back for some time. The Contemporary would have the most impact on our plans, and the sooner it is announced the better.

Contemporary, I'm so excited about it that I can hardly stand it :dance3:
That being said, I am very excited about Hawaii also, will hopefully be able to book at the 7th month window but don't anticipate buying any points there.

Definitely Hawaii. I was so sure we would buy in if DVC ever did Hawaii, but now that we have added points at AKV, I doubt we will do more. I'm going to have to be content to try and book at the 7 month window in the future.

I didn't vote.
I find Hawaii interesting, but I doubt we'll ever go there (certainly won't buy points there) Otherwise, I don't really care about GCV or CRV. And I don't want DVC to stop growing or just be in WDW.
Now, a carribean resort would really interest me. :beach:

I'm moderately excited about Hawaii, sort of ambivalent on GCV.....but would be absolutely psyched about CRV.

Both Hawaii and GCV are cool. I lived in Hawaii as a kid (about 15 miles from where the resort is being built) so for me it sort of a "been there, done that" kind of thing. It will be cool to take the kids there when they are older, but would probably be a one-time thing for us. GCV, however, is more reachable for us and something we might use more than once.

Although I'm pretty psyched about both, I'm most excited about GCV. It's a lot closer and with all the upcoming changes at DCA it is going to be incredible...provided we can get in at the 7 month mark!! ;)

I voted for GCV because it will give me more reason to go to DL when I visit California!!!

I am excited about both - I've never been to DL or Hawaii, and I'd love to do one trip to both places someday. I bought DVC because I love being able to stay at an inclusive resort that I can trust. I'm thrilled to have more places to go and things to see :goodvibes

I voted for GCV over Hawaii for 2 reasons. First, I'm sure our family will be able to make it to California a few more times than Hawaii(probably a once in a life time trip). 2nd, I hope GCV is just the beginning of DVC resorts opening up at Disney parks around the world.

I said GCV, but I sure would like the Contemporary to be a reality! Hawaii is out of the running for me because it's too far from Waikiki. I'd be excited if they built one on another island in Hawaii!

I picked Hawaii, as the Ko'Olina are is beautiful. I would be happy AT the resort and then when I was exploring the area I would still be in paradise. GCV will be a nice option when you do Disneyland, but some of the surrounding areas? Blech!
I was wondering what all the fuss was about the Contemporary so went to the Disney website.... WOW, now I know. Absolutely the style of accommodations we usually go for (in hotel properties). I think I may be coming down with addonitis.

Hawaii for sure:cool1:
No real interest in CRV ( I have stayed there before-dont care for the theme). The monorail is not that importatnt to me (have three kids but they are old enough not to have to drag around).
My thoughts are this...Hawaii will be highly utilized by DVC olwners but not owned by many east of the Mississippi..CRV will be bought up quickly.

Hawaii is certainly exciting. But the chance of me ever having enough points to go is probably slim, or none.

GCV is really the one that I have an interest in adding on at. I'd go to Hawaii but I wouldn't buy there. CRV is a great idea but I think the hi-rise is kinda ugly to be honest. I would imagine that the points for a MK view at CRV will be sky high.

Sorry about that. I meant WDW not Disney. I know GCH is at a Disney park. For me, WDW is where the magic is. I have not been to DL for awile and have not seen Califorma Adventure. I may try it again when GCH opens to DVC.
GCV as we visit there every other year. Hawaii is too far for us to visit regularly.

I am excited about Hawaii! I would buy 50 pts or so, maybe more, and then go every 3rd year..
As for airfare, rent out my BWV pts for the airfare!!

It's "none" for me. After 3 trips to Hawaii on 3 different islands, I'm convinced that I don't care for it. Our oldest son lives in LA so when we go there, we stay with him and I wouldn't consider it a vacation destination for us. And being close to MK doesn't interest us--it's our least favorite park because we have no small children.
But I'm really excited for everyone else!!!!!! There cannot be too much Disney.

Tough Question for us West-Coasters!
I grew up going to DL, so I'm extremely excited that soon I'll be able to call GCV Home. But otoh, we just returned from my first trip to Hawaii  to the news that we'll be able to go back in a few years and be "Home" as well. I'm quite happy about both, so it's really a toss-up.
I went ahead and voted for Hawaii, however, because while I'm on the fence, DH is more excited about Hawaii. He wants an add-on there too. Goodness, where is it going to end???

It's a toss up between GCV or Contemporary. I mean, I love Hawaii, but if there's no theme park there, what's the point of going Disney?:wizard:

I'm likely to visit GCV more often than DVC-HI, but I'm glad to have the HI option also. It's a win-win since both CA & HI are vacation destinations with a lot to offer.

And to our family Disneyland is where the magic is.. WDW was horrible the one time we went, so now that the kids are gone we are ready to try again..hopefully without the tornados/hurricane/snow in Crestview the night before/freezing wind thing.
