I saw that one on ebay but as we are so close to the wedding it said their delivery time was too long. I might just forget about it or I might try to find one locally.

Thanks,
Linda

6 days til booking day!!

From what I gather, I won't find out that day if we get our choices, so I think those days of waiting to find out are gonna be the worst so far!!

I've had a last minute waiver on Morocco for the DP (again! I think I already worried about this earlier on) as I'm worried that the islands in the middle of World Showcase Lagoon will block the view of IllumiNations.
So I've broadened the horizons to the French Island Arm and UK Upper Terrace and got Simon to pick the spot.
He's gone with UK Upper, which is cool as we're from the UK and have the advantage of chairs and tables already there :thumbsup2
Of course, now I've developed concerns on this location too, so wondered if you guys can ease my mind!
- can the tables here have table linens put on them still, as the parasols look non-removable?
- the parasols look a bit grubby to me, but hey, it'll be dark won't it?
- is it a good view from here?
- is there the possibility of another dessert party being below us at UK Lower? Not that this really matters, I just find it funny that they try and prevent brides from seeing each other all the rest of the day, but it seems there's a great chance they will here!
- are we likely to get this location with our party of 12? I know that they seem to prefer Escapees being in certain locations and I'm not sure how keen they are on using this one..

Is there anything else I need to have ready for the phone call? I presume we need some backup options, but how many? And is this just the times or locations too? Can I only book the actual ceremony on the day, or can I register my interest in the DP too, or do I have to do that once the ceremony is confirmed?

Breathe! Think that's it for now, just need the next week to speed along!!

When I called to book my Escape VR back in April, the person I spoke to took a note of the venue and time I wanted for the ceremony and told me that someone would call me back within a few days. I mentioned that I was also interested in having a dessert party and was told that my planner, when I was assigned one, would deal with that. I got a call back within 48 hours from Dorren Diehl, a Sales Coordinator, who told me that my preferred location and time was available, but again my planner, when allocated would deal with the dp.

Doreen dealt with the contract and deposit, and once that was done, she told me that I would get a planner assigned within two weeks. It was a full two weeks later when I got a call from Tanis to introduce herself. At that time, she took a note of the fact that I wanted a dp, but said that it couldn't be booked until eight months out.

So you've probably got a little more time to think about it LOL!

Hope this helps.

Sigh. More waiting on the dessert party front then ;) Is it still only bookable at 8 months out for Wishes as well as Escape? I keep having crazy last minute ideas about changing to Wishes again, but I know that would mess up the reception meal we are now set on and of course cost a whole lot more cash! I need to keep talking myself back down!

Do I have to wait to book the MK photoshoot as well?

Do I need to pick a certain number of backup times or locations for the ceremony to have ready for the phonecall?

Booking day tomorrow! So excited!!

I wasn't asked for alternative times/locations for the ceremony when I called, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to have those available. I was told that stuff like dessert parties, photoshoots etc, is dealt with by your planner when you get one. Your sales coordinator will deal with the contract, deposit, etc before you get a planner allocated to you.

I'm really excited for you Meryll, I remember that time well.

I didn't need to have back up locations, I think they have standard ones in case of bad weather etc. I booked the MK Photo Shoot about the same time, I booked it over email and when the contract came through it was pretty much already set up. Tanis told me in advance what day and time I had and whether I managed to get my requested day. I would have some backup ceremony times though, just in case. I actually wish I had married at a later time (was 10.00am) but getting ready and everything was hust too hectic! An evening wedding would have also been nice! VR on the cards:rotfl:

Post and let us know how you got on today!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

I just called the main number and left some basic details with a dude called Josh and he said someone would get back to me today or wednesday (tomorrow). They had some of my old details on the system from when we were considering Wishes, so I gave him the new choices.

Is that it then for today do you all think?

Will the next phonecall I get be the one to say we have/haven't got our choices, or is there something more to be discussed in the next phonecall before we get confirmation?

I was expecting something more dramatic than a quick 3 minute phonecall I guess :lmao:

I wonder if I should have called Brie on her direct number, I've just looked and the email I got after confirming she would be taking over from Doreen did say I should call her direct today. Oopsie, what do you all think?

Aww look at my ticker, exactly one year out!

I guess all they need is to know the time/date/location today and then they wait till the end of the day to see if they have any clashes then they ring everyone back.

Perhaps you could send her an e-mail?

All systems are go now contacting our outside vendors etc to confirm, and I can finish those save the dates off now and get them sent!

The dessert party can't be booked til 8 months out I'm told, and our choice of restaurant 6 months, so I'll just have to guess on our save the dates that I'm giving out the right info!

Claire,

It's not essential I put this info on I suppose, but I wanted to give people an idea of what is actually going to go on and how the day should pan out. Mind you, it might confuse them more if things get changed later on!

I'll have another look at the STD's this weekend before I finalise them, but I resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't going to be able to get them to line up, so I'd just print them on seperate card and glue them together back to back.
Did I ever send you the various templates I have, I can't remember if I did now, but I know I was meant to! :upsidedow

I've emailed various vendors to confirm we have our date now and enquired about paying deposits / more of the balances off, so I'm waiting to hear back from them.

We also decided that if we were paying for the MK Bridal Portrait, we might as well pay that little bit extra for a second park, so we're hoping to do Morocco, Italy and China at Epcot. Brie has forwarded our request to do the shoots the morning after the wedding to DPS, and will let us know as soon as that's confirmed too!
Now I know what you're thinking, everyone says they are soooo tired the next day to do the photo shoots, but it saves us a rehire cost of Si's suit if we return it to resort reception before midday the day after the wedding, and it's only a couple of hours, we can chill out for the rest of the day.
I'm happy we've made this decision, I love photographs, and I think we'll have them in abundance on this holiday!:woohoo:

Cool, I'll see what the post office have on offer at the weekend! - do you need to post the credit card auth form as well if you're emailing it? I don't want them to charge me twice!

ok next question!

I don't see anywhere on the contract anything about the new(ish) outside photography rule - ie. that outside photographers such as Randy cannot do in park photography.
I had wanted Randy to do our dessert party originally, but cancelled this due to the new rule, but as it's not mentioned in my contract do you think I can still get away with this?

I notice there are 2 postal address on the back of the DFTW contract - how do I know which one to send it to?
I asked Brie about this and it was the Lake Buena Vista one she told me to use and she called the other day to confirm it had been received, took just under a week to get there by standard Royal Mail international delivery, so I was pretty impressed with that!

We now also have confirmation that our MK and Epcot photoshoot have been booked in for the day after the wedding, at 5.30am, apparently this was the only slot available that day. I'm so looking forward to this, it's a good job coz I have a feeling we'll need that motivation to get out of bed!! Just waiting to hear back from Beaute Speciale now, as I'd provisionally booked the day after this, so I'm hoping they're still available this day, fingers crossed!

Incidentally, while I'm on photography, did anyone get a chance to think about this?:

I had wanted Randy to do our dessert party originally, but cancelled this due to the new rule, but as it's not mentioned in my contract do you think I can still get away with this?Think I might chance it when I get my planning pack and say that we're going to use Randy for the dessert party and see what they say, has anyone else had the new photography rule written into their contract yet??

We've paid off the basic package we've booked with Stan in full, we're keen to get everything paid off ASAP!

I'm waiting to hear back from Randy about what our balance payment should be, as we came out with slightly different figures, but I might wait and see how we get on with Disney about the dessert party photography first, as we might owe him a bit more if we can get him in to do that too!

I've made some progress with renting DVC points so we can stay at the Boardwalk for a couple of nights over the wedding date, so in a couple of weeks we should have that all confirmed too. We loved the Boardwalk last time and can't wait to stay there again!

I also got some velcro dots from ebay to hold our invitations shut, so I stuck all of those on the other day, that's another little job out of the way. Just gotta wait a while longer now to choose the guests and put the content in!!

We sent our STD's out the other week too, everyone seemed to really like them and asked how we did them.

Getting the guys to do their measurements will probably be the next task as we want to get the tux rental sorted soon. Think I'm going to give them all a 'how to' sheet so they can't do it wrong!! :lmao:
Simon likes this one from Carolyn Allens:
http://carolynallens.com/for_him/tuxedos/grey_tuxedos/images/somerset_526_small.jpg
So we're gonna try for this one, think we might buy our own cravat style ties here though, as CA's only do a normal tie, plus then the boys can use them again at home with their own black suit perhaps to save us rehiring for everyone, we think we'll just hire a tux for Si for the at home do.
Not sure whather to have a different colour waistcoat or cravat for Si or not, we're thinking ivory waistcoats and wine coloured cravats - maybe his buttonhole could just be different to the others?
Also need to get the dress steaming with CA's organised soon, might do that tonight.

Oh, and in bargain of the week - after nagging at Julie (she knows I love her really and it's for her own benefit!!) I convinced her to ring Virgin, as the Disney park tix have gone up horrendously on Disney UK (£216 currently for 14 day ultimate tix) and every other vendor the last week, but I notice Virgin seemed to be the only company still have their old price on the website (£196). Well she rang, they gave her a lower price than the website anyway (£183), and then the 10% flying club discount that was available at the time of her original holiday booking, even though now it's gone down to 5%! Result!!:cheer2:

That's it for today's busy busy update!!

Hey chick,

Glad to have you back!! Not long now for you to book!!

We've got confimation now from Beaute Speciale that our new date is ok, and a new form from Brie so that we can start to pay off some more of the wedding, like the bridal portrait etc. We're keen to pay as much as we can now, as the US dollar account we're using doesn't accrue interest anyway, and at the moment I feel safer with Disney having our money than leaving it in the bank ;)

Incidentally, does anyone know who it's best to request a particular photographer(s) from? Should I do this via Brie, direct with DPS or via my coordinator when we get one allocated?

Alex, Brie's been really great and got back to me within 24 hours whenever I've emailed her with a question, now it's a waiting game to see who our co-ordinator will be.....

There were just some discrepencies with paying for viewing fees at the DP and then we were supposed to be billed at dinner prices since we had a DP, but it wasn't put in the contract so we paid the brunch prices.

You're right, it is starting to get exciting now!! :woohoo:

I had my phonecall with Kathleen last night to go through any initial questions I might have - I had a fair few scribbled all over the planning pack so this was really useful!!

She already got back to me in an email as well about the things she wasn't sure on, which is fab!!

So, the main things I learnt that might be of interest to the rest of you:

We are subbing our Disney photography included in the Escape package for a honeymoon shoot, which is in one of the parks. As we are doing both the MK and Epcot Bridal Portraits, I asked if having the honeymoon shoot at a resort was an option, which was one of the things Kathleen went away to check for us, and it's agreed that we can have it at the Poly instead :lovestruc
I asked about having 2 different flavours of cake for the 2 layers, and 2 fillings which aren't on the standard list. This was something Kathleen had to check with the Boardwalk Bakery and the good news is we can have the flavours I've been drooling over for the last year (top layer chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and bottom layer almond cake with amaretto filling) at no extra charge! :yay: I didn't know it was possible to be so excited about cake!!! :rotfl:
I double checked if us UK Escape brides still get the DPS CD included with all their photos on which we do, however I think we get less actual prints, will have to read that again coz I can't remember exactly what prints are included now, but having the CD means we have the rights to the piccies anyway, bonus! :thumbsup2
For those of us staying at BWV we walk from the lobby there to SBP, the limo is of no use there, as it would have dropped us at the BW lobby anyway if we were coming from another resort. We're still making use of it to pick up everyone from Pop and to take us all to our reception meal afterwards though
We've only been offered Morocco as a dessert party location, apparently UK Upper and the French Island Arm have a 20 person minimum, so that makes the selection process easier for us - thank goodness I left it as Morocco on our STD's - I must have known!
Kathleen mentioned on the phone about the outside photography rule, so no Randy at the dessert party, but I'd anticipated this anyway, just was hoping to get away with it ;) I believe DPS charge $300 for the dessert party coverage, so we'll have a think about this and see if we want to go for it, I 've been wondering since whether we should have someone in at Citrico's from DPS to cover the meal as well, but is it weird that they won't be eating and would be snapping away instead? Has anyone else done this without serving them a meal? And that they'd be there for like an hour, I mean how many photos of people eating do you really need?!! But it'd be nice to get photos of the food itself and the atmosphere. We'd initially thought Randy could do this and eat with us, but there isn't space at the table unfortunately, so I figure it'd be best to let him finish before the meal and then get DPS to do this if we decide to do it, then continue over to the dessert party. Need your thoughts on this one!!
Rosie from Disney Floral is due to be emailing us in a couple of weeks, and it's her I need to speak to regarding upgrading our floral to silk and any customisation etc, Kathleen said she thought it was about $100 to upgrade to silk, but I'll let you all know how I get on with this....

Think that's the highlights there for you!

Hey Meryll! That's so nice Kathleen got back to you so quickly! Your cake sound delicious! Sorry to hear you can't sneak Randy in to the dessert party. It was definitely worth asking though! Did Kathleen mention if the $300 includes any prints? if so, DPS might be worth it at the dessert party! Those pics always turn out so fantastic! :goodvibes As for pics of the food at the reception, i'm not sure you really need it. I would skip on that and maybe have a bridesmaid or someone just takes a few snapshots. :confused3 Thanks for sharing all the info! :thumbsup2

Hi Meryll

So glad everything is coming together for you.

Oooh you are having the exact same cake that we had, you will not be disappointed, it was the best cake I ever tasted! I so wish we could have taken some back to the UK with us, it was so big that we ended up leaving the majority of it at POFQ!

We got 12 printed pics for the MK Bridal Shoot (I think it has changed now) and we of course got the CD to go with it, which had all our MK Bridal Shoot pics on it. I think it's really unfair that we international brides get that and US brides don't (well not immediately anyway)

Sounds like you are very organised. Can't wait to hear more of the finer details closer to the time!

Hmm perhaps... I don't really mind having Morocco too much, just didn't want to have any trees blocking our view. Will see what the state of affairs is again when we get to 8 months out...

I agree, I was really impressed with Kathleen's speedy response. I just found my old email last night, and it was actually $350 for DPS to cover the dessert party, forgot to check if prints were included though, I'll try again!! I think for us UK Escape brides, they don't give you any sort of portfolio and limited prints and you get the master CD instead as it's easier on the postage, but I'll let you know what I find out....
We did decide earlier that we could just have friends and family take piccies at the meal, thanks for reminding me that this was a sound idea, as I was getting all carried away again!;)

Hey chick,
hope you're well?
I think it might be your very cake that gave me the unhealthy obsession with having these flavours actually! I told Julie we got the flavours we wanted, and she was like "what if someone's allergic to nuts?" :scared1: I didn't think of that before but hey it's tough now, more cake for me!!

It does seem unfair that US brides have to pay such a huge amount for their master CD. Just as a comparison, I had some professional photos done a year or so ago, and they just wrote to me to say as they are now retired and wanting to delete their photos, would I like the master CD of them all for £50, which I thought was a bargain so my mum's getting me that for Christmas. Isn't it something ridiculous like $1000 if you want your DPS master CD? Yikes!

On a COMPLETELY off-topic note, I just had to share with you my excitement at getting John Barrowman tickets booked for next year on the 3rd row from the front!! (he's another unhealthy obsession of mine :rotfl:) - so chuffed as last time we were up in the circle and about half way back there too...

Yesterday we were 11 months out from the wedding, and we've successfully managed to get a reservation for 2 nights at the Boardwalk Villas by renting DVC points from a very helpful fellow DISer
We've used extra points to ensure we have a Boardwalk view and have the room booked for the night of and the night before the wedding - love that view :)

I've also received an email from Rosie in floral already, and we're currently trying to set up a time for a call to discuss upgrades to the floral etc.

We've been wanting to pay our balance with Randy, but I've been having real problems getting hold of him now for about the past 3 weeks or so. We had been emailing back and forth, but now I've sent our last message 3 times and still no reply, very odd :confused3

I've booked our dress steamings with Carolyn Allen's now and also discovered that Beaute Speciale do nail extensions, so I'm getting those done on the morning of the wedding.

It's all go at the moment!! :goodvibes

I've now had my phone consultation with Rosie - she is so sweet!! - and she went through all the pricing with me, and will send a proper breakdown once she has the next couple of month's weddings sorted out first!

Too much detail to go into here and now, I'm tired and have just got back from London, but everything we wanted was do-able :thumbsup2

Feel free to ask the pricing on any of the elements I've mentioned we were wanting earlier in the PJ!!

Hey Meryll!* Sounds like everything is really coming together:thumbsup2 !* I'm so jealous that you get to "really plan" now... It does seem like it'll take forever, but now I'm wondering where the time went!!
I believe it was $1000 for the MK shoot, and $300 to add Epcot, there's tax to go on top of that as well. I'm at work at the moment, so I'll double check those figures when I get home, but I think that was it.

For 3 roses, 2 colours of ribbon and pixie dust, it was somewhere between $55-65, again I'll check my spreadsheet at home as I can't remember the definite figure now. I presume tax still needs to go on to this too...

Sorry, I'm a bit useless aren't I, but I will find out!:upsidedow

Just a wee update - been mega busy at the moment as I'm performing in a Christmas show at our local theatre which starts tonight (wish me luck!!) but it's only a short run, so by next week I'll have my evenings to myself again until the next one - anyway, just wanted to mention that our AP vouchers came the other day with our contract!
That means we can go back to WDW now, and they'll let us in! ;)

We also reserved our flight seats with Virgin too, so we'll all be sat together if we get the ones we've selected.

PS. I will check out those prices and send out the STD template to those of you asking, just might be another few days!! Thanks for being patient!!

Hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, - our wedding is now officially THIS YEAR!! :woohoo:
It's amazing that when we started out it was 2 years to go, and now we're at around 9 months already!

I've been a bit wedding lazy lately actually, not much to report. I've posted another thread asking for all your help on choosing music for the ceremony, as we just can't decide, so we're looking for inspiration. This is the one section of the Escape planning pack we're not decided on I think, but I don't think we actually have to submit it until July or so, so still plenty time, but you know how over-organised I normally am, so it's time to start thinking about this! :rotfl:

I need to get in touch with Rev Miller in just under 3 weeks to hopefully get him confirmed, so looking forward to that as the next milestone!

A little disappointed that the new ADR window is 90 days, I know it makes more sense really, but it means we have to wait a further 3 months to find out if we can have a reception meal :scared1:

I'm sure we'll be seeing lots of new faces as it were around soon, as I expect there have been some festive proposals. I don't expect any of them will dare tackle this beast of a thread though, how many pages have I racked up now??!!

We still haven't sussed out the tunage, I think we need to make time to sit down and sort it out properly, at the moment we keep casually throwing about ideas but not actually getting down to finalising anything.

We made a teeny little wedding purchase yesterday, got some matching ties for the boys and the matching cravat for Simon from Debenhams, just so we don't have to re-hire suits for everyone, they're all going to wear their own black suits and just Si will hire a proper wedding suit, but at least they'll have matching accessories!

We've just passed the 9 month mark now, so we're in the process of confirming our booking with Rev. Miller, and sorting out the final arrangements for renting DVC points to stay at the Boardwalk the night before and night of the wedding. I've just received the contract from our rentor (is that the right word?!), so hopefully each of these items will be sorted by the weekend! :thumbsup2 Well at our end anyway, I don't know how long airmail will take to reach the US!

It's also only 29 days now until we can book our dessert party, which I'm really excited about, this is one of the truly "Disney" things about our day, a fantastic firework show, amidst amazing scenery, and scrummy desserts! :cool1:
We're going to ask about a custom menu, so we can pick and choose the different items we prefer from the set menus, yummmmaaaaaay!

Hey you,

We have just booked our DVC too! Exciting isn't it?! I have the confirmation numbers of the bookings and haven't had to pay a deposit as we have rented from this lady before. As soon as we get the postal confs we are paying, although it is more now isn't because of the $/£ exchange rate.

We would have loved to have done a dessert party, and it was a choice between that or dinner at Le Cellier. In the end we decided we are going to book Le Cellier but we aren't paying. Times are getting hard!!

You'll have to let us know what menu items you choose, and don't forget your doggie bags so you can take anything that is leftover. If me and himself were there I guarantee you'd have nothing left over :rotfl:

I know, the dollar rate sucks at the minute doesn't it? We'll be paying for our rental in the next few days I think, so we'll just have to hope it doesn't get any worse!

We're also arranging a group meal at Le Cellier, it was our favourite restaurant by far last time, but it's going to be a pay your own way job.

We're lucky we budgeted way in advance and got most of our dollars changed, as otherwise we might have had to cut back on things about now.

The desserts I think we're leaning towards are:
Chocolate peanut butter marshmallow sqaures
Chocolate fudge brownie
Key West key lime pie
Tiramasu
Cheesecake

They just set up the items buffet style and then refilled them as needed. I know by the time everyone had gone through the line we were low on everything, but we still had some leftovers at the end (remember to bring plastic baggies with you because if you fill them up you can take them home!) We got them from the shop itself, but the same ones are also available online, I think it's in the formal wear section.
Hmm I wonder if your shop has different ones if they seem a bit pinky, not sure.
I actually bought a plain burgandy coloured cravat off ebay, but I'm selling it back on there now, as it was a little too dark compared to our bridesmaid dresses, and the Debenhams ones have almost a two-tone effect to them with the pattern, so that's working a lot better for us.

We've had some sucky news over the past few weeks. The company both Si and I work for is merging with a larger one, and when the first annoucement was made we were promised there would be no compulsory redundancies, so we didn't worry too much. Needless to say, we were probably naive in believing that, but what else could we do, so to cut a long story short, after much uncertainty and meetings not giving much away, we now finally know I still have a job in another role, but unless something comes up in the meantime, end of March is when the companies merge and Si's job, as it's more technical in the current company, is no longer going to be required. :sad1: It's a real shame coz he enjoys his job, and the way the decisions have been made about who goes and stays have been done really poorly, not based on job performance at all, just the necessity of certain roles. But I'm not going to go into all that....
Sooooo, lots of job hunting going on at the moment, along with most of the UK at the moment unfortunately, hoping something good comes of it! Fingers crossed!

Thankfully, our wedding funds are pretty seperate from everything else, so we shouldn't have to make any cutbacks on the wedding and all will still go ahead as planned. We've joked that if we cancelled the wedding and converted all our dollars back we'd be in the money now, but obviously we don't want to do that! We still have to pay off the holiday itself though, so we're planning lots of movie nights in and no unnecessary expenses at the moment....

I had my phone consultation back in November with Rosie, and pretty much chose everything we wanted then.

She mentioned that she had to prepare the cost break downs for some sooner weddings, but that she would put together a costing for me when those were done.

Do you think I should chase her up on this, or leave it a while longer?
I know our wedding isn't until October, but she implied that we could have our costing within a couple of months, and it'd be nice to check all the pricing to get the definite figures in writing now we're being a bit more conscious with our pennies....

I definitely don't think there is any problem with dropping Rosie a note to check about your floral budget. I looked back through my emails and it looks like I received my first one about a month after my planning session which would have been about 9 months before our wedding :thumbsup2

I've sent Rosie and email and am waiting to hear back from her, thanks for the advice :thumbsup2

Speaking of advise....

We have a new addition to the wedding party - Si's brother Adam, and his wife Anna, have their first baby due in April, and they've now ameneded their holiday to a week long trip and are bringing baby, who will be 6 months old at the time.

Sooooo, what do I need to know? Baby counts as an extra guest at the Escape wedding, but that's ok, as there's on 12 of us in total at present. Do I just tell our planner we have an extra guest? I guess at this age they don't need a chair at the ceremony, as they would sit on mum's lap or in their pushchair?

Reception meal, hopefully at Citrico's, do they need a highchair at this age? (I know nothing about babies!!!!) I presume Citrico's can provide this, and that we'll all still be able to squeeze into the Chef's Domaine?

Dessert party, again I'm presuming mum's lap or pushchair?

I'll let them figure out the rest themselves, flights and hotel stuff and whatnot, but I just wondered if we needed to make any changes to be "baby-friendly" at the wedding.......
Although, somehow!!!, now they've ameneded their holiday, they've ended up on the same flight as others (they were previously on Si's parents flight later in the day) and Virgin want to charge Si's parent like £400 to move to the same flight as all of us, so they're leaving it, so I'm hoping this means we don't have to become babysitters on the plane :scared1:

I'm also afraid it means we're no longer immune to baby crying during the ceremony

To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if they go back to the hotel before the end of the night, so perhaps the fireworks won't be an issue.
I'm wondering about the ceremony though, how to vaguely politely say in advance, if she starts crying can you take her away so you don't ruin our wedding video! :guilty:

Maybe you could have a big sign above the pews saying. "all babies to the back of the church please" ;)

Woohoo, we are almost booked for our dessert party!
We get our amended contract on Monday!

We're booking Morocco for now, but our plan has advised that we can check again at 30 days out to see if UK Upper or the French Island Arm are free, and then she will check if we can switch.

We're having:
Chocolate peanut butter marshmallow sqaures
Chocolate fudge brownie
Key West key lime pie
Tiramasu
Cheesecake
Chocolate eclairs
Fruit tarts
And we've been quoted $28pp - very excited we can still have ye olde squares :lovestruc

We've also returned our planning pack, including music choices, I'll be back to tell you about that soon, gotta go get ready for a murder mystery party we're at tonight, but just had to share the good news about dessert!!

Ok so we FINALLY settled on some choices that we think will work with the violin, and we've sent off our planning pack now, so I guess we'll hear back soon if there are any problems with what we've chosen!

Pre-Ceremony, Seating etc
Various Disney Songs - As there's only a small group of us, we're not gonna have any official entrances for most of the bridal party, they can just mingle and get sat down and settled.

Bridesmaids and Bride Entrance
Reflection from Mulan - I figured there was no point having 2 seperate songs, as not enough of them would really get played. I think I'll try and time it so the girls head off first and then I set off on the chorus....

Sand Ceremony
All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera

Recessional
All You Need is Love by The Beatles

First Dance
Your Song from Moulin Rouge - if they don't have this version then we'll go with the normal Elton John one...

Cake Cutting / Champagne Celebration
Don't Stop Believing by Journey, followed by Various Disney Songs again until the violinist's time is up (dunno how long they normally stay?)

So not especially traditional at all, but we have to make these choices all over again for our at home ceremony, and they'll mostly be from a CD, so who knows what we'll end up choosing then!!

Thanks! I'm excited to hear them played now! We've been listening to the Vitamin String Quartet on iTunes, they are awesome and make violins sound cool, I have to remember we only get 1 violinist though. I actually went to look up the price for a quartet in my initial pack from Disney, the price for just a trio scared me enough, so we're going with what we get included!!!

I also might go in hunt of dessert pictures to whet my appetite for the sweet things!!:rotfl:

Our planner gave us 2 options for dessert party transportation for our party size of 13:

A mini-motor coach which holds the entire party- $435.75/5 hours (minimum charter is 5 hours)

Two luxury vans which can hold up to (8) guests each- $120.00/3 hours (minimum charter is 3 hours) ... I have presumed this is 2 x the $120 for the 2 vans.

We've plumped for the two luxury vans both to collect us from the GF after our (hopeful!) meal at 8pm. We then have the option to have one returning guests straight to Pop Century after the dessert party, and the other perhaps can then take others to the Boardwalk for those who may want a couple more drinks before returning to their resort.

We weren't offered the option of walking in from the international gateway with an escort like I know some others have, but this wouldn't really have suited us anyway, as we need to get from the GF to Epcot anyway.

Over the past couple of days I have added some extra bits to the front of our invitations for our at home do.

I just had the hearts and pearl mickeys to begin with, but thought this looked a bit too plain, so I bought some card frames and gold angel hair, stuck it all together, snip snip, and voila!:

I think I'm happy with them now :rotfl:

So now we just need to fill the invitations with something!!

We also got our BEO already from our planner, and all looks well on the budget front! We're having a phone call on Tuesday to go through all the paperwork etc, we seem so close to being done already now, it's crazy!!

I'm really starting to get nervous about our ADR though and what we'll do if we find Citrico's Chef's Domaine is already taken!!! Still, almost 5 more months to stew over that scenario!

NOW I WANT A DESSERT PARTY!! It seems very reasonable on the cost front so may have to talk to Disney about it.

What time does everyone have to be there? We are having dinner at Le Cellier at 6.30pm so it would be great if we could mooch over to the dessert party afterwards.

Thanks all for the positive comments on the invites, I kept changing my mind about them so often, but that's it now (at least for the front!), done!

The venue we are using back home for our at home blessing ceremony and reception had a wedding fayre at the weekend, so we went for a nosy to check out what it looked like with all tables set up, so we could decide on decorations etc there.

My parents came too, and they've obviously been thinking about it for a while, as they offered to help us out a little more so we can actually have a sit down meal rather than just an evening buffet, so that all the family that are travelling get a fuller experience I guess, and a little for them too I suppose, it's probably the only big event they get to host!
Soooooo, we're now going to look to move our blessing ceremony forward to 3pm, have a sit down meal for around 70 at 4.30pm, followed by an evening reception and buffet with around 100 in total there. Sooooo, almost a wedding number 2 now! I need to get in touch with the band and registrar to check about moving these times around! It's a good job we planned Disney way in advance, coz now I have a new project to organise more!!

Wow lucky you 2 weddings!

We are so lucky, it's fantastic, both sets of parents have helped us out so much.

We've got a meeting booked in a couple of weeks time to go discuss the menus etc. for our at home do, so hopefully that will be all sorted soon. The package there includes some basic floral for the tables, but as we already bought items for our centerpieces we're also going to arrange an appointment with the florist to see if they can add any extras to what we already have instead, maybe just some more candles or something.... We'll get this organised after the venue meeting I think.

I've taken the plunge and gone for a dessert party as a total surprise to everyone, including Tim!!

I love the invitations Meryll, very chic!!

I've only just noticed your post - Alex that's awesome! I cannot keep a surprise secret for the life of me, so I'm very impressed. Is it Sago Cay you've gone for? Please don't send me the bill :lmao:

So I've still not made any further progress with the inside of the invites, but there's plenty time to suss that out yet.

I booked 4 La Nouba tickets yesterday for our parents for the week after the wedding, this is a little pressie for them to say thank you. (They know - as I said, I can't do surprises!!). I managed to book them directly online, even though when I rang them they told me they didn't go on sale til 6 months out, and it would most likely be the beginning of June for our date!!

We're planning on getting Halloween Horror Nights tickets and Express passes for Tim, Jackie, Julie and Steve as a little thank you for them, which I think don't go on sale until the summer, so we'll look at that nearer the time.

Not sure on what to get Adam and Anna, coz we're not sure whether either of them will be coming to HHN, and they're only holidaying for 1 week with the 6 month old baby - she's actually due today, so we'll see!! Does anyone have any ideas what we could do for them as a pressie? As you can see, we've been going more for experiences rather than items as gifts, but we will most likely give everyone a little something at the at home do too. So it would be nice if we could treat them to something in Orlando, but I'm a little stuck on this one as they're not there as long, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :thumbsup2

Love your invites. We used Cards and Pockets also and they were just right for our wedding.

Just a word of note - it looks like you are using velcro circles to keep your invite closed. We did this also. It did make them more expensive to mail because it made the envelope thicker. I would not have not used the velcro because I love the way it kept the invite closed but I just wanted to let you know to maybe bring the invite to your post office to check on this.

I really like that too, I think it makes them a bit unique. I know a lot of brides on here have used this style, but it's not something I've ever received myself in the UK before.

Thanks for the advice Linda, we'll certainly have to get them weighed at the post office so we have the right postage on them. We wanted to make sure they stayed closed, same as you.
We're going to try and deliver a lot of them by hand as well I think, to save on the old postage!!

Thanks Vanessa, just gotta make another billion of 'em now! (that might be a very small exaggeration!) ;)

The La Nouba tickets arrived for our parents today, pretty speedy I though considering it's been Easter. And considering we're not even 6 months out yet, I'm very impressed! They look really smart, they're on plastic cards like the MNSSHP tickets we've had previously.

I've booked an appointment with the florist now for in 2 weekends time and we're at our at home venue for a meeting next weekend, so we're all go again at the moment!

I have no idea what I'm going to do when this is all over, I'll have to find me something else to plan!

I almost forgot to mention (how could I?!!!) that due to the latest news from DFTW, I'm now in the process of sorting out a room block with our planner, that, fingers crossed, will bag us a complimentary night at the Polynesian Resort :woohoo: Our planner is just checking it's okay for our room block to be based at Pop Century, as this resort is not on the standard list, so wishing and hoping really hard that this works out! We've always said we'd love to stay at the Poly, so this will be an awesome treat for us. We've picked to stay there one night almost a week after our wedding date, the night before we're having our honeymoon shoot at the Poly already, as we've already rented DVC points to stay at BWV over the wedding period. Combined with our cruise, we're now set to sample 4 different Disney accommodations this trip, check us out!! :cheer2:

I might have to enlist their help!! Plus I now need to check out Lindsay's trip report, I assume she has one underway - her wedding came round so fast, I didn't realise it had gone by already!

Thanks Meg :thumbsup2

Its up to the morning of the wedding!

I think I've found another activity we're going to do on our trip. Now it's not the average wedding/honeyoon holiday activity, but for us it's something really unique........:

http://disneyworldsports.disney.go.com/dwws/en_US/events/eventDetail/detail?name=TowerOfTerrorDetailPage

I'm only contemplating the 5k (we are on holiday after all ;) and I'm not really a runner), and I think it might just be me and Si that do it (we'll be a husband and wife duo by then!) but I think it sounds really exciting! Plus I'm a sucker for some exclusive Disney merchandise!

Anyone done anything like this before?

Do you think I've gone mad?!!

DH keeps asking me about starting to run and I said the only way that I'll do it is if we train for a Disney marathon  I have heard good things about the races, so I'm sure you'll have a great time doing it.

I'm a little behind on things, we've been gone the last 3 weekends, so I just wanted to say that I love your shoes. I had some that were similar on my wedding day and I was grateful that I was comfortable! :bride:

The Polynesian is a fantastic resort, I only stayed there once for a few nights with my friend's family and hope that Kris and I can stay there one day too.

We bought all the materials from cardsandpockets.com, the folders come ready made, and the card for the main invitation is already the correct size, and the tallest of the inserts, we just have to cut down the shorter inserts.

Oooh look how far my tickers are on now, it really is getting close!!! We can actually send the invites out soon (when we've made them all!) We actually did a first batch yesterday of around 20, didn't take all that long, so looking forward to doing another set soon....

The one in the bottom corners is actually a cut-out, I bought the punch on ebay - it's just called a swirly mickey punch or something along those lines. I cut it out of the main invite so you can see the folder underneath, and then stuck the cutting on the other side. I've actually put a sticky pearl in the centre of that one now too.
The pale pink one on the background I just created using a swirly pattern from the autoshapes available in Word I think, either that or it was clipart, but I just pieced together 3 to make the mickey head. :thumbsup2

Ok, so we still haven't decided whether to do the beastie ToT run yet, now we've put together a timetable, we're quite busy bees, so we'll see how funds are going nearer the time I think...

Halloween Horror Nights tickets for Universal are starting to come on sale now, and we were planning on buying these as gifts for our bridesmaids, best man and partners. So we had a chat with everyone concerned to check they were still up for this plan.

However, Adam and Anna seem unsure that they won't want to leave early to check on the baby (who'd likely be with parents), so it's been decided that this might not be the best gift for them.

Sooooo, please please please help me think of a new gift idea for them!! We've been going down the route of experiences whilst everyone is in Florida (i.e. our parents have Cirque tickets), but I'm struggling to think of something baby friendly if they wanted to bring her along, or something which doesn't last all that long so they wouldn't mind leaving her for a couple of hours with family maybe. And something around $60-100 per person ish......

Great ideas Claire,
It will be Anna's first visit, so I don't know if a backstage tour might spoil the magic, but they're definitely all ideas we can run past them.

Any more ideas anyone? I'm lacking inspiration!!

Just wanted to drop in and say I love your invites!
Thank you!! We're going to try and make the last batch of the day invites this weekend I think, with a view to sending them out in the next couple of weeks, then we can start work on the evening ones!

Claire, I love the hot air ballooning idea, but it's a little steep price wise I think, plus I'd just be jealous of them! Perhaps the Characters in Flight at DTD is more in my price range!! I was sat yesterday figuring out the costs of all the meals and activities we'll probably want to do, and it's made me realise I need to do quite a bit of hard saving for these last few months!

I noticed as well as carriage rides, there's actually a horse riding trek as well that sounds fun, but that's just me wanting to do that as well, I don't know whether it'd be their kind of thing or not! At least we have quite a few options to go to them with now and see if they fancy anything, thank you :thumbsup2

This doesn't mean the rest of you get of easy though, I want some more suggestions from you lot too, stop letting Claire do all the hard work!! ;)

I notice noone else has come up with any other gift ideas, obviously my PJ is getting far too long now for people to even consider reading!

I think we're going to settle on going for a meal somewhere, as they don't seem to be willing to commit to anything to be honest, and at least it's not the end of the world if they back out on a meal while we're there. Still need to have a proper chat about it with them though....

Having weighed myself yesterday I've lost a stone from when I first starting trying to lose weight, so that's pretty awesome :cool1:

I think we're going to send out our at home invites this week, I've been doing the envelopes this weekend. Seems a bit premature perhaps for November, but I want to be nice and organised, and have asked people to respond by September so we can be sorted before we go away.

Going to arrange an appointment in mid-July with an alterations shop to check the girls BM dresses and also to see if they will be able to put a bustle on my dress, seeing as my bridal shop were too lazy to do it!

ADR time soon as well, just a few more weeks to go, here's hoping we can get the 2 full group meals we're hoping for sorted, especially as one of them is acting as our wedding reception meal!!:scared1: I'm hoping that things may have calmed down when we book, as at the moment free dining is on for those trying to make ADR's, whereas for ours there is only UK free dining on, the US offer has finished by then.

We got our confirmation through for our free night at the Poly, it's a standard garden view room, but we were lucky to get it at all I think, as my planner advised me that they set a deadline for this for Escapees and don't offer it anymore, as it's really a Wishes perk.

So quite a lot going on at the moment, really wishing the time would fly a little more still though....

Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while; my laptop at home has been out for repairs for 2 weeks and I am way behind on everything on the board. Have you thought about the Dining with the Imagineer package as a gift? We did this for my parents and the lunch was at the Brown Derby. Even if the baby is along I think this would still work out for them since its in the restaurant and one of them could step away for a few minutes. It is a little over $60 per person.

How exciting that you were able to get the free room at the Polynesian. Plus, who knows when you check in they might even offer an upgrade :goodvibes

Vanessa, I love this idea, but they like us, can be slightly picky eaters, so unfortunately I'm not too sure whether they'd enjoy the menu at the BD...

I'll be wearing my bride ears in the hope of an upgrade, but it seems like chances may be slim. I'm just really happy we get to stay at the Poly after all though, it was what we were planning to do when we were originally looking at the Wishes package :woohoo:

I'm using Jackie's details so we can get on a week earlier than I could with my own as she checks in a week earlier than us, and I think, if I have done my calculations correctly, that because she checks in on 10/10, I should be able to do our Le Cellier ADR for the 19/10 on 12/07, and our Citrico's ADR for the 21/10 on 13/07, thanks to the 90 days out +10 we get for staying on site.
We rang Dining to get Jackie's US reservation number, and have been able to retrieve the resort reservation online, so we should be good to go when the time comes from Le Cellier, but I know how difficult it is to get lately so fingers crossed! For the Chef's Domaine we have to call anyway, it's not bookable online.

I forgot to tell you all, but I started doing WeightWatchers earlier in the year, can't remember exactly when, although if I check the weight loss thread I'm sure that'll tell me, but about a week or so ago I reached the 1 stone lost mark! :yay: I'm really quite proud of myself, as I've never been a dieter before, I just figured I couldn't do it coz I like my food too much! I only really want to lose a few pounds more and then work on toning up a bit, just over 3 months to go, so I'm starting to get really excited now. Once we get our ADR's sorted one way or another, I'll really start to feel like we're good to go!

I'm taking my dress and the 2 girl's dresses to an alterations shop in a couple of weeks time to see if they can bustle my dress and take up the shoulders on the girl's dresses.

Me and Si have also been asked to be godparents for Adam and Anna's new daughter in September, which is exciting, however I don't know if it presents a problem that I haven't been christened! Need to find out whether it effects things that I'm living in sin.....:scared1:

Arrrrrgh, phoned to try to get the Chef's Domain confirmed, the first girl transferred me to a different reservations team as she had never booked it before and was struggling, and the second girl was having trouble also accessing it, so she is going to check with the restaurant if they have already put it on hold and call me back.
Stress!! :scared:

In the meantime I called back reservations and booked us into the main room at Citrico's for now (hope this doesn't confuse matters!) so we don't lose out all together if something goes wrong. They warned me it'd be seperate tables, but if we have to go down this route I'll email the restaurant directly to ask if they can put us all together.

Think happy thoughts for me, the girl said it might be a few hours before she got back to me as there probably wouldn't be anyone at the restaurant until then!

Are you sorted then?

Nope, that was my poor attempt at sarcasm!

I haven't heard anything back, so just called again, and got transferred away from the main ADR team again, this time I noticed they said it was guest relations I was speaking to.

The guy spent a bit of time looking but then told me it had already been booked, and could he try another date for me. :sad1: I explained that we had tried to place this on hold via email with the restaurant some time ago and again tried to book this morning, so was it possible this was our booking, but for some reason he said the system wouldn't let him show what name the booking already there is in. He said they were open from 7am so someone else could have booked it in that time as it's popular, but darnit I was on the phone trying to sort it then with the other girl who was meant to be ringing me back!!

I asked if I rang the restaurant directly would they be able to tell me if it was booked for us, and he said only if it's in your name (which could be mine, Simon's, Tim's or Jackie's technically!). I've tried ringing the restaurant and emailing the manager directly, but there doesn't seem to be anyone there at the moment :sad2:

So I'm now uber stressed coz I know the room is booked, but is it for us???!!!!!!!!! :scared:

The restaurant manager emailed me back last night to my work address (so just seen it this morning) and said that the Domain was already put on hold and she will transfer into our name (well Tim's as it's his resort ressie we're using) tonight. We've given her our card details so she can do this, as it's a venue that needs a credit card guarantee.

So it sounds like it's okay and was already reserved for us somehow, but I won't rest easy until we get a confirmation number (presuming we get one!), which I won't find out until Thursday morning if she replies to my work email again, as I'm not in the office tomorrow  More waiting........

Keep hoping for me that it all goes to plan!

Things seem like they're getting really close now we've booked all of our ADR's too, here is what we have booked:

- Crystal Palace for breakfast on our first morning in WDW. Just for me and Si, as we think everyone else will be astonished at how military we are getting up early to do this, especially as we're having a late one at Halloween Horror Nights later. But we know we'll be up bright and early, so might as well make the most of it!
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:goYehIYPV1BMXM:http://www.intercot.com/infocentral

- Le Cellier on our stag and hen night for everyone, a table for the girls and a table for the boys. I was really pleased I managed to get two tables for 6 at 6pm :thumbsup2

- Beaches & Cream the afternoon before the wedding when we check into the Boardwalk (okay, so we haven't made an ADR for this as you can't, but this is where we'll be going for a No Way Jose!!) :worship:
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:spWmmsXHAc_RBM:http://albums.mouseplanet.com/album221/BC_Beaches_and_Cream_Interior.sized.jpg

- Citrico's Chef's Domain for our wedding reception meal :lovestruc
http://tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:0Mi3SyRGWT0b-M:http://www.mygourmetconnection.com/articles/culinary-artist-spotlight/img/citricos-chefs-domain.jpg

- California Grill with Adam and Anna the night after the wedding as a gift to them, although they are still to confirm if they want to do this, but thought I'd better get it booked in anyway!
http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:DIhySrrtZpmjtM:http://www.kevinandjohna.com/pic-californiagrill.jpg

- Mythos at Universal (okay, so again I haven't booked this yet, as when I called the number it told me to leave a message, so I thought I'd try again another time, but we plan to go here for lunch whilst we're at Universal that day) We're also waiting to see if Julie and Steve want to join us for this meal, as they said they'd likely join us for a Universal day.
http://tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:oH2z5_JoIDDAwM:http://www.wdwinfo.com/universal/Photos/Mythos-Restaurant-250.jpg

- Sci-Fi Dine in for lunch with Si's parents and Adam and Anna too before they leave to go home. We need to confirm this with everyone still, but once again we thought it better to get booked! This is somewhere Si's family went when the boys were kids, so we're planning a nostalgic trip back!

- ESPN for an early dinner whilst our parents go to Raglan Road and then on to Cirque (our gift to them), but Si desperately wants to go back to ESPN and have dingers, so we've squeezed it in for ourselves here (okay, so yes again we can't book this one, but you get the idea!):lmao:

- Big River Grille & Brewing Works for lunch the day before we cruise. The plan is for everyone to have a last get-together before we head our seperate ways, so I've booked for us, parents and Julie and Steve

- Boma for a late breakfast on our final morning with my parents before we head home, we'll be all that are left at WDW, so our final farewell :sad1: We're actually not able to make this ressie until Friday, and my dad's going to handle this one, as I've now trained him to be an expert(ish) at the new online ressie system!!

Haven't totally decided whether to do the Epcot Segway Around the World or the Tower of Terror 5k yet, so leaving those for now. Tried to book HHN tickets with Universal over the phone the other day, but the payment wouldn't go through as apparently they're having issues with UK security codes at the moment, which is darn useful!

Took our dresses in to an alterations shop last weekend and they're adding me a bustle :cool1: and just doing some minor alterations on the girl's dresses, the lady in the shop was lovely and said the total would be no more than £40 and she is doing Jackie's for free as the alteration needed was so minor. Very pleased with that, as I was anticipating up to £40 a dress based on my limited knowledge!

I've also sent off to Brevard County for the mail away marriage licence, does anyone know how long the intial papers should take to come back to me?

I loved reading through all your dining choices, I love so many of the places that you have picked. What is the dessert you mentioned at Beaches and Cream have in it? We absolutely love going there for burgers and ice cream on our trips. I'm interested to hear about the places in Universal since we're going there in December.

Oh Vanessa, the No Way Jose is a divine creation!! You must try one, we made the mistake of ordering one each last time, this time we will be sharing, much as I love dessert, it is HUUUUUUUUUUGE! I have a picture of me with one somewhere, but for now....

That sounds out of this world; we love peanut butter and chocolate desserts! We normally just do shakes or something boring, except for getting the "kitchen sink" one time. I am now going to have to add this to my list of must have desserts next time we're at WDW :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

No problem! I'm wondering when to start chasing it up actually, coz I think it was a good couple of weeks ago I sent it off, but I have heard they don't send it back to you until you're at a certain timescale, just to make sure you don't do it all to early and have it expire before you get to the wedding!!

Hey hun, remember me??!!

Sorry i've not been around for a while but I thought I'd check in and see how things were going. Not long now huh?

I'm so glad you got your ressies. We had decided against Le Cellier for our wedding night meal as we just couldn't get anything online or on the phone when we tried. I was trying to see what the likelyhood was of getting the numbers and times but no luck. I know we can't book it this far out but thought it would give us an idea of how available it was - and it's not!

We are going to go for the Yachtsmans instead and then hop into Epcot afterwards.

Congrats on the weight loss - that is fantastic! I joined a gym a few weeks ago and have lost around 1.5" all over so I'm well chuffed.

So what have you got left to organise?

xx

Hey Alex,
Nice to have you back! Sounds like your plans are coming together now, and well done on the inches! :thumbsup2

We picked up our altered dresses yesterday, I have pictures! The shop randomly had a fake bouquet which was in our wedding colours, so we got to pose for our first bridal party shots! :rotfl:

Here goes....

Julie is on the left and Jackie on the right. Excuse our lack of hair styles and makeup! I forgot to bring my shoes as well, so my dress will sit a tiny bit higher from the floor.

I am now officially bustled!

What do you mean you don't want to trawl through all 64 pages? I'm offended! ;) They are Bella by Venus, D586.

Alex, your Capri Royale is going to look amazing, when do we get some piccies?

Thanks girls for all your lovely comments, I'm really looking forward to getting ready on the big day now, having seen a preview of what it will look like when we're all suited up. Can't wait 'til we have the whole set with the boys as well!

Hi girls,

Sorry I've slightly neglected my PJ the last couple of weeks, just started a new job on Monday which has meant giving up doing my theatre shows, so very busy and emotional times, but should be nice and stable now!
My theate group threw me an amazing surprise leaving party, complete with songs performed for me, so I've asked the director whether they would be able to come and perform at our at home reception they were that fab :lovestruc

I emailed Beaute Speciale after hearing they couldn't do Alex's nails anymore as their nail technician had left, and sure enough, same problemo.
Think I'm just gonna get them done before I leave now and pray i don't damage them travelling or in the first few days before the wedding.

Thanks for the compliments on my dress, we didn't lethally lace it up here, so hopefully when it's done right I should have a teeny tiny waist. At the start of the year I was weighing around 11 st 3, and I went on the scales on Sunday to discover I'm down to 9 st 13 :woohoo:

Have received our mailed back marriage licence application from Brevard county and we're going to get it notarised next week.

Also got up at 5am at the weekend to book our shore excursions, we're doing the Sea Lion Encounter at Nassau, and Parasailing at Castaway Cay, very exciting! We've also booked a getaway package for the rest of the day at CC which includes bike hire, snorkel hire and float hire on the island.
I have also booked Palo for now, not sure whether to keep this or not, but thought it best to book now and cancel later rather than not have the option later.

Phew! Busy busy!

Sorry about Beaute Speciale but glad you know too. I'm surprised they didn't email you to let you know :confused3

I heard back from Valencia Salon on Wheels if you are still interested in gettign them done in your room. They charge $75 per set of nails which includes a French manicure and a one-off fee of $50 location fee.

I have emailed them to say I want to book and am just waiting to hear back. I've promised my Mom nails and nails she will have!

ps. Congrats on the new job :thumbsup2

Ohmigod, where has the time gone??!!!

To think we started with 2 years to go, and now we leave in 5 weeks time!

I've made a list of all the stuff we have to do, and it's surprisingly long :sad2: - to be honest the majority of it is for our at home do, seeing as we don't have the joy of a wedding planner for this part! It's all lots of little things like making background music CD's, table names etc, but it's all added up to make a scary looking list!

I'm going to email aaaaall our Florida vendors either this weekend or next, to make sure we're still all set and whether there's anything else they need from us etc. Yikes, I'm gonna be a busy bee for the next few weekends!!

I will compensate with lots of pictures when we return!!

I'm afraid I'm going to keep you all in suspense until I return, I don't want to waste precious Disney time searching for internet access somewhere (my phone is a bit rubbish so can't do it from there).
