I want to enter the yomd but how do I send post cards to the U.S. how $ is it? Are there special cards?

You can send any postcard its I believe $1 and change (cannot remember the change) but just ask for a stamp to the US

A quick check of the information at www.canadapost.ca reveals it costs $0.93 to mail a postcard from Canada to the United States. No need for speculation or conjecture -- that's the exact price.
