We had one here at my local mall here that I frequent in Binghamton NY but they closed it a few years ago. Now the closest one is in Syracuse NY but I'm moving VERY soon now ( exit from Disney ) so wont have to worry about stores anymore....YAYYYYYYYY šOš

I'm sure your store closed around the time THIS happened (Oct. 2004)-

And since then, there's not much reason for me to shop the so-called "Disney Store."

Have a good time living as Mickey's neighbor!!

Actually it just closed and a new store (Pac Sun) went in the space. Oh I plan on getting my annual pass and going every day to all the parks. šOš

It could be a coincidence, but around 2004 seems to be when the Disney stores in the area went downhill. They really are a shell of their former selfs. I remember when they had a great selection of cd's, books and a variety of merchandise. Now it just seems to be a clothes store with a few stuffed animals thrown in.

The Disney Store in Houston, Tx Willowbrook Mall closed for remodeling and seems to be a different store that is moving in - instead of a remodel?!

Wow! I noticed that the pjs at The Children's Place and at the Disney Store looked the same (other than the Disney characters). I thougth they just used the same supplier or something. I never would have made the connection.

Our Disney store closed a few years ago. Whenever we're shopping in a town that has one we make it a point to stop in.

We've had PJs at the Disney Store for years and since TCP took over, they changed the fit a bit, but I think for the better. Disney made them very tight fitting and TCP made it a looser fit.

I suggest anyone who hasn't been to a Disney Store in a while go back to one. We have more adult clothing (including jeans for men and woman) than we've had in years. Also, we have a wonderful dinnerware, something that has also been absent for years.

I must say, Disney really changed the stores and TCP (although I'd prefer if we were still owned by Disney) has really stepped up and tried to restore the stores to their original glory. Is it exactly the same, no, but it's a big improvement.
