I booked RPR for 5 nights. I will have a 6 year old and two teens with me. When I initially booked the supersaver rate was not listed for HRH and it was quite a bit more expensive. I just checked the Universal site and there is now a supersaver rate offered for the time at HRH. It would be $138 more.

I know you can pool hop, but I really like the idea of the splash play area for the 6 year old as well as the beach area at the pool at RP. But I'm sure the teens would prefer HRH.

What would be your choice in the same circumstances?

They are both lovely resorts w/ lots of activities for all ages. Stay at the one who's theming you prefer! :thumbsup2

I would go with HRH since the rooms are a bit larger.

I agree...HRH rooms are bigger and it's the closest hotel to the parks.... They also have a slide in the pool, RPR doesn't....altho, you CAN pool hop...I'm guessing your 6yo will love the slide and the teens the music and underwater music too:thumbsup2

OK, now I'm excited! I determined by the poll results and also doing a search on past threads, that the majority feel the HRH is the best choice, but money is gonna be kinda tight on this trip so I was really torn on what to do. I called Universal today and questioned the rate for an obstructed view with CAA and the rate I was quoted is only $12 more per night ($183) than the rate I had at RPR :cool1:  :rotfl: so I went ahead and cancelled my RPR ressie and booked the HRH. I don't think we'll be looking out the window too often so the obstructed view isn't that big a deal. Thanks for your help :flower3:
