OK, who has noticed the big TV advertising campaign for Orlando and the theme parks so far in September and October? This is the first time the Orlando Tourism Bureau has gone in for a big ad campaign at this time of year and they are curious to know what kind of impact it is making. Have people seen them; have they made any impression with you; and have they made you more likely to book (as opposed to waiting until the New Year)???

It is a huge campaign isn't it? It seems to be on telly every 10 minutes!
I've been bugging DH to go next year for 2 weeks and he thinks i'm in on this TV campaign to wear him down! :rotfl2: I should send the Florida Tourist Board a thank you card ;)

I don't remember seeing the ad, but I think it's safe to say that we Orlandophiles are not the target audience :teeth:.

Can't say I've noticed them but similar to Debs I wonder if I don't notice when it is Disney :)

I have seen them several times now and it has the same effect every single time.........................I tingle from head to toe, roll on december
My ds (2yrs) goes nuts every time he see`s them now,he has no idea where he`s going for xmas :santa:
More ads please!!
Noticed them myself, usually followed in the same ad break by a Walt Disney World advert (in connection with Virgin).
Like others have said tho, already loving anything Disney (and now Orlando) and having already booked, the ads are pretty much wasted on me :)

I love watching the ads but they don't influence when I'm next going to WDW. Actually adverts have never influenced my decisions to visit Florida - first time it was dds age that was the deciding factor (I wanted to wait until she was old enough to remember this once in a lifetime trip LOL!) and after that it was when we'd saved up again.

I have seen the virgin ones and it winds me up everytime as the prices are obviously not during school holidays so does not apply to a whole load of people. Therefore no infuence for us, but as previously mentioned I can't see them influencing anyone on this board. We may like to see the wonderful footage of Disney but as previously said most people here have already booked.

i suppose i should give them a bit of leeway due to the postal strike, but its been nearly 3 weeks since i ordered it.
I ordered Universals nearly 2 months ago and i still dont have that and its meant to take a fortnight!
